For play August Burns Red, what is the best drop, D or C ? I play with a Schecter c1 platinum silver on a Peavy vypyr 15, but I don't have a great sound properly...

I do not really know, because I do not play ABR that often, but I guess Drop C. They change their tuning quite often as far as I know. Make sure that you have a fitting string gauge. The lower you go, the higher the string gauge has to be for a good tone (for example for drop C 11. or 12.)

I think it‘s drop C. Just play the Open chord at the beginning and try to fit that chord, that is how I did it. Hope I could help, sorry for the late answer dude !
