I’m sorry but I cringed when you tried to float in the pool😂😂 you have to lie completely horizontal and sometimes it helps to suck in your stomach but you were like at 90° angle😅🤦🏽♀️ Edit: I know some people hate when ppl go crazy over the likes and like thank them so much and such. Salt is antibacterial... when i was at the beach as a kid i slipped and kneed a barnacle... it cut a deep gash and my mom sent me into the salty water to clean it... cant imagine what the dead sea would have been like!!! but definitely good for it lol

If you happen to accidentally swallow that water you can actually die "":) i have this geography teacher and she once told us how 40 years ago she went on a school trip with a few classes and 2 other teachers. One of them was this really nice, old man. While they were all swimming, he unfortunately slipped and lost his balance. He fell face first into that water and died. So remember to be really careful if you go there

GREAT VIDEO! Way back in the Summer of 1973, I was lucky to have participated in the People to People Student Ambassador Program and a small group of us traveled some 40 days through Asia and we got to stay a week in Israel along the way and got one day to the Dead Sea and nearby Masada. I remember floating in the Dead Sea, too!

4:44 - Freshwater dissolves salts and minerals from the rock/soil it flowed through, although at very low concentrations. That's where the evaporation comes in. Just like if you fill a pot with tap water and boil it dry, leaving some residues behind. Fill it again and repeat the procedure (i.e. DON'T rinse and repeat) over and over!

I used to live in Jordan and I would go almost every weekend to the Dead Sea! I’m glad you enjoyed! My favorite part is the mud, it’s so fun! It’s so fun to see you guys where I was! I also went to Wadi Rum every weekend and we even made friends at the Rainbow camp!

The Dead Sea is one of my favorite places... I remember going there as a kid and it's like nature's theme park! You should definitely come and visit Israel and the West Bank-Palestine! I'm sure you'll love it and you can see the other side of the sea, and visit Messada which is a really really cool place. Oh I love this area so much, the desert is amazing...

FloatLikeBrezyy last I checked Israel is spelled like this ISRAEL and when you try correcting someone on spelling please don’t get mixed up with spelt and spelled (if you were referring to me😉)

When Nate tried to float in normal water he was keeping his head out of the water, to be able to float, you need to lay flat on the water. You won’t float if you have your head above the water (in normal water I mean)
