Hello - thank you for your question. Most barges have what's called a "step up transformer" on board which steps up the voltage generated by the gensets to "transmission voltage" and then they have a switchyard, which is quite small on a barge and a "dead end structure" from which the transmission line goes ashore. If you look at 5:46 of the barge video you can see all of that on one end of the barge. Different barges have had different configurations for that equipment, but most have had all that on board.
