J-Hope was not just known in the underground dance scene, he was famous. like famous famous. After he signed with Big Hit and when BTS was made, before they debuted they were basically known as "that group Jung Hoseok is in" J-Hope used to follow Suga around when he frist signed with Big Hit, he'd sit next to Suga as Suga produced and wrote songs, just quietly watching him to learn. J-Hope actually left BTS once, he decided it wasn't for him and Jungkook held onto him and cried, begging him to stay. He came back cuz he belived in the other members. As far as I know, J-Hope was never signed with JYP, but JYP and Big Hit was in a partnership together before, making the trainees kinda free to go back and forth and benefit from the other company. Which is why J-Hope is featured at Jokwon's solo song, even if Jokwon is in JYP. Which is why some newer army's might be confused. J-Hope joined Big Hit when BTS was supposed to be a rap group, meaning no singing and really no dancing. So he learned to rap from then on, he probably took vocal lessons on the side but he was always meant to be a rapper

Correction**** Jhope is the main dancer and dance leader of the group not lead dancer. He usually monitors group performance and choreographies and helps other members if anyone needs help in terms of dancing.

when I saw someone reacted to this video about j-hope, my initial thought was, "no not this video again". I'm so glad that many people in the comment section already have told you that it's literally full of false info and doesn't do justice to Hobi at all. I'll add one thing too, J-hope is one of the main writers/composers within BTS, he has 89 writing/composing credits at KOMCA (The Korea Music Copyright Association). He's been involved in creating songs for BTS since their debut, but for some reasons most of the BTS fans who made those intro guides never mentioned it. I guess Hoseok wasn't/isn't their bias so they didn't pay enough attention to him.... And I have to agree on another thing mentioned by others, j-hope is a phenomenal live performer!!!! If he's gonna be your bias... great choice, and I'm glad you noticed this multitalented all-rounder (he can rap, dance, sing, write songs, produce- a full package).

i'm so glad you like hobi so much!! he deserves all the love and appreciation. so many people sleep on him and i don't fucking understand why. he's such an amazing person, he is so caring and always so kind. of course he has his bad days too, i think he once said that sometimes he feels pressure because some people expect him to always be that bright because of his stage name. he is so so talented, and one day you should really react to his mixtape hope world!! he worked extremely hard on it, and his music deserves so much love and attention. also, he really is a living sunshine. when i was at their concert and looked at him, there was this kind of aura around him. i can't explain, but i definitely couldn't keep my eyes off him. there's just something about his presence when you look at him with your own eyes. he is so so special.

I just love our sunshine,he is such a wonderful human. I'm so glad that he is your bias because even though he is the main dancer he doesn't have so much time in the front and it's so sad. Tae,jk and jimin are amazing but I wouldn't be sad if big hit would put jhope more in the front. I love that you react to them individually before watching the performances because now you know he is your favourite and you would look for him. It's hard when jungkook,tae and jimin are almost always in the front and the ones in the back are neglected sometimes wich is really sad. My bias is Tae but jhope is my bias wrecker and I'm so happy when I see people who genuinely like him. Can't wait for the next video. 😊

6:48 Rain is one of my fave BTS songs..i really like their chill songs. Jhope is my ult bias even tho he wasn't my first bias because when I was a new to BTS, i felt his funny act was a bit forced and i could not relate to him at all but when I got to know them better I found out his more serious side, i fell for him.. he wasn't just the goofy funny guy of the group. His stage presence, his dancing, his rapping, his singing, his passion, his affection for the other members.. i fell for those qualities.

Hello, J-Hope is also my bias ^^. I would like to make some correction here (Sorry if it's long, I hope you will still read it) : -J-Hope never audition to be a trainee at JYP (JYP is a big kpop company like YG with BP) and never trained as JYP trainees. However, he once participated at a dance competition organized by JYP. He won the comp and a prize but at that time, didn't wanted to enter the trainee life I think. Anyway he never auditionned at JYP. -He was never supposed to be a vocalist. J-Hope is the 3rd member to join Bighit and BTS and at that time, they were supposed to be a hiphop group. J-Hope already said several times that when he joined bighit he was the only one who couldn't rap and he learned with the help of RM and Suga. Some months later, Bighit decided to debut BTS as a kpop group and did auditions for vocalists, then the rest of the members joined.

Das Introduction video zu ihm war halt wirklich einfach gemacht worden weil er n member ist, die anderen sind viel detail reicher geworden 😔 like sie sagte nicht einmal, dass er MAIN Dancer ist in der Gruppe und nein er war kein vocalist. Er war schon immer rapper weil BTS eigentlich ne pure Hiphop Rapper Gruppe sein sollte, die vocalists kamen erst später dazu. Trotzdem ist dieser Junge talentiert bis in jede Zelle seines Körpers, weil. Das Tanzen ist halt klar seine Body Controll ist on point, on beat und sharp aber smooth zugleich, seine Tänzerskills sind einfach unmenschlich find ich. (Song um diese zu sehen: Intro: Boy meets evil) Dann seine Rapskills, die anderen zwei Rapper hatten schon Rapper Hintergrund aber J-Hope nicht. Er hat das alles erst gelernt als er in BTS kam aber jetzt ist er wahrhaft n Flow-Jesus, like niemand hat diesen trappy und einzigartigen flow wie J-Hope. Er hat das was RM und Suga gelernt haben in weniger Zeit gelernt und heute hält er locker mit beiden mit. (Song um diese zu sehen: 1 verse, J-Hope Solo Rap song mit gesampletem beat von el chapo's song...mir fällt der Name nicht ein sorry aber trotzdem ist der Song dope weil er seine hater zerstört 😂 erwartet man nicht bei seiner sunshine personality aber der hat die fertig gemacht, don't mess with J-Hope sag ich da nur) Dann seine vocals, er konnte schon immer singen. In JYP, vor seiner BTS Zeit hat er da seine Audition als dancer und vocalist gemacht, aber sie haben ihn leider wieder abgelehnt und nach Bighit geschickt als er kurz dort ein trainee war :c 💔 Aber durch seine Rapper "Ausbildung" ist er jetzt in allen drei Kategorien mehr als talentiert und wird von uns auch der "golden Hyung" genannt, (JK ist der golden Maknae (goldene Jüngste) weil er auch alle drei Dinge kann und in vielem anderen gut ist aber dann sah man J-Hope's Talent und nannte ihn auch golden Hyung (goldenen großen Bruder) was er sich redlich verdient hat ❤️) (Song für seine vocal skills: sein selbst geschriebener Song Mama, an seine Mutter gewidmet, das ist ein sehr happy klingender aber versteckt emotionaler song 🥺 und die life Performance von dem Song sind immer reine Emotionen) Dann zu seinen beatbox skills, ja der Junge kann beatboxen. Bei "American hustle life" sieht man seine skills am meisten weil er und Jin, der älteste, zu einem beatbox coach müssen und ich muss einmal erwähnen, ich liebe es wenn Jin und J-Hope zusammen sind 😂😂😂😂 daher kommt auch der Clip wo beide meditieren aber Jin die ganze Zeit lacht Dann seine producing skills, diese hat er auch gezeigt als er an Hope World, seinem Mixtape, gearbeitet. Er hat Airplane, P.O.P (Piece of piece, ich liebe diesen Song Titel das beschreibt ihn perfekt 😭) und Blue Side glaub ich selber produced, also die beats, Texte etc selbst gemacht. Sein Hope World Mixtape ist wie so ne Einsicht in seine Seele und seine Gedanken das solltest du abchecken das ist happy aber versteckt auch mega deep. (Er hat aber gerade Erst richtig mit producing angefangen also ist er im Gegensatz zu RM und Suga noch ein Anfänger aber trotzdem sind seine beats dope. Er hat kürzlich auch in dem neusten Album "Map of the soul: Persona" Dionysus teilweise fast selbst geschrieben und produced, die meisten credits von diesem Song gehören J-Hope) Und seine songwriting skills, die waren immer schon da, er schreibt seine eigenen Texte, deswegen hat er kaum roasts in seinen Texten weil er erst was macht wenn bei ihm der letzte Nerv reißt 😂 Aber er schreibt nicht nur seine eigenen Texte und Melodien, er hilft auch den anderen Members, z.B hat er einen Teil in Jin's Solo "Awake" geschrieben und die Melodie dazu gemacht 🥰 Also zusammengefasst: dieser Junge hat zig Talente und arbeitet tatkräftig an den Sachen von BTS. Überall hilft er mit und jeder schätzt ihn wert für seine harte Arbeit, RM sagte selbst mal J-Hope ist wie eine Art Ersatzleader und sagte "Er benimmt sich manchmal mehr wie ein Leader als ich. Dadurch hilft er mir sehr viel und hat sich eine riesige Menge Respekt und Bewunderung von mir verdient." (Nur so nebenbei, Namseok ist mein Lieblingsship 😂 Die sind beide 94 geboren und deswegen sehr close. Sie sind so like das Leader Duo in BTS ❤️❤️❤️🥺) Die anderen Member respektieren ihn auch sehr weil er wie eine Art Kleber für die Gruppe ist, er hält alle zusammen. Er wollte ganz am Anfang von BTS die Gruppe verlassen und Jungkook hat sich die Augen ausgeheult als er erfuhr J-Hope hat die Gruppe verlassen :c ❤️ RM tat alles was er konnte um ihn zurückzuholen und letztendlich kam er zurück. Er kümmert sich um jeden einzelnen Member und ist (für mich) mehr Mutter der Gruppe als Jin 😂 Deswegen an alle Armys welche ihn noch nicht so kennen: DON'T SLEEP ON HIM ER HEISST JUNG HOSEOK NICHT BED HOSEOK! 😂 Soviel von mir, danke an jeden der diesen Monster Kommentar von einem emotionalen J-Hope biased Army gelesen hat 🥰❤️

Before Bang Si-Hyuk started Big Hit, he was a producer and partner at JYP. That's why they had an arrangement in the beginning. For example, you can find videos on YT of pre-debut BTS members dancing as backup dancers for JYP singers.
