You can definitely tell in the engineering of the sound of this song that he joined Five Finger Death Punch. The drums and bass are very thick sounding like they do, and the guitar riffs are very Zoltan Bathoryish lol...thats not a bad thing. The song sounds fucking killer and Im glad I listened! Maybe include this idea into the next FFDP album, Andy? One can dream lol

@@archkarr18 yeah I agree with you , nonetheless if listen to "Bella's song" or the intro of "welcome to the crazy maze"( the intro only upto the point Andy starts to shred) or his earlier works on a six string you would have to agree with me that he is a master melody maker. I'm saying that he should do more of the melodic stuff mixed with his shredding skills. After all Andy is known for his shredding techniques. Having said that I miss his simple melodic songs.

If you play at blazing speeds you will often find the speed and accuracy of the third finger is far superior to that of the pinky and the pinky police. I reiterate, often, and at high speeds! 🔥

Moreover, you can go the gym focused and bent on making your forearms just as big as your biceps, and more power to you I guess if that be the case. @@emayfrit A lot of his playing uses 3 note per string mode shapes. Some of the shapes below the 12th fret are virtually impossible to play without the pinky especially where the gap between each note is a full tone for each finger. It's more possible above the 12th fret because the distance between the frets is smaller. Try playing g, a, b on the low e string then the full mixolydian shape without using your pinky. Its not really possible. You can see him playing the modal shapes in this piece below the 12th fret using his pinky, particularly the intro.

My interest is only in pointing out the value of relying less on the pinky at high speeds when the option is otherwise maybe split. By the way, isn't Diary of Hells guitar a vicious masterpiece?
