It is so weird that every week Bridget always looks amazing and Dave looks like he is slowly sliding into become the village crazy old man.

I hate the isolation and everything related to the virus. But I have to say: I will miss those little moments, where I'm alone here, far from my family and my friends, to see that Flogging Molly is offering us a moment of music and poetry to ease the sorrow and raise a glass and dance and smile. Thank you guys!

The son never shines, wow what an amazing version. I remember finishing school in 2003 a year after Drunken Lullabies had been released and being 16 i wasn't into the slowness of it at first id always skip back to the beginning of the album anyways in the summer that we had left a friend from school was in a car crash with her older brother and sadly she didn't make it. Ever since then the song just sort of hit home, even after all these years everytime the song comes on on my playlist i have to repeat it. 16 years old and the son wont ever shine on her closed doors again

I had the distinct pleasure of watching a concert (captains of the head) WITH Dave and Bridget. I was just drunk enough to ask where they found these guys and we spoke for longer than I would have expected. Dave was just happy to be there, and Bridget was grace personified. So grateful you guys exist and continue to be the best of us.

"Son Never Shines" never ceases to make me tear up. One of my favorite songs ever & a beautifully intimate, much needed renditon. Much love to Dave, Bridget, the other Deadly Sins & the rest of you Salty Dogs!

You both are a piece of helping me get through this whole thing. I had barely heard of Flogging Molly before all this. Then I found these videos by chance one day and it kind of got in my blood in a good way. Now I'm buying the cd's one by one. Thank you for these songs each week. It counts!

The Son Never Sines (On Closed Doors) has been a very important song, in my life, during a very hard period. Still it is. Thank you for your music, your time and your kindness.

Thanks Bridget and Dave. I have really enjoyed these sessions, and they really compliment your already amazing catalog studio recordings. Stay safe and please keep making music, I ask even though it is for the selfish reason of wanting to listen to more of it. I hope you and yours are all doing well!
