Can it be countered by the chest lock? The old position Roy Harris would show. where he tapped he would take his hand open and face up and place it between Tye shoulder blades and then press all his weight down to the ground. Killer pressure, not sure if it would be enough to counter the buggy choke but it's my first thought from this nice example by Ruotolo.
@jamjam11163 жыл бұрын
@@bolsbolbol368 yes it’s an effective counter especially if the person is larger, forearm across the throat pressure works as well. I have the most difficultly finishing the buggy when they apply that pressure before I lock it in fully, I think the buggy works so well because most people just aren’t ready for it

@@artemthetrain14 That's why I am asking. You have to fight those California DIR fines. Here in WA, some gyms get $10k fines a day. And those who have the means to fight them legally stay open. Or just try to be really undercover. But with ATOS posting so many videos on their KZbin and other social media, seems like they are not really hiding it, which can bring down the legal heat. I guess they just have a lot of $$$ for lawyers to fight off those fines. Or there are other loopholes.

imp theres no way that choke actually made Hinger tap. it wasnt even tight nor did he seem to fight it at all
@kingcanable3 жыл бұрын
You would be surprised with that choke and josh did try and fight it he had proper arm placement and structure it's just a super powerful choke once you get caught it's really hard to break it especially the more muscle the person has it's more effective as it's easier to push the arteries closer together and cut them off all I can say it test it at your gym or have someone put you in it and then rethink it that was tight
@oo1manny1oo3 жыл бұрын
Look at how purple Josh's head is when he gets up. You can clearly see the veins on his forehead. His head clears right up after a few seconds of oxygenated blood circulating through his neck again. These are clear cut signs that he would have been put out if there wasn't a tap.
