I think Jrods best asset is also one of his biggest flaws that have cost him most of the matches he has lost and it's hisspastic movements. He's always going so hard that he often over extends himself and gets into bad positions. If he slowed down at times and was more strategic and technical versus trying to use his pace and strength to outwork his opponent he'd likely not of been on this 6 fighting losing streak.

Jay may not have the best jiu jitsu but he is a good wrestler and if this is going to be the way of measuring Mica Galvao should also be ashamed about not finishing Jay... but we all know how great is Mica as a grappler, one of the best in the world on his weight cathegory. Jay Rod is very difficult to submit. Also you have to consider Tainan started recently at nogi so he has not much experience.

Playing almost the entire match from a seated guard position is the absolute worst. This strategy makes for static matches where nothing actually happens. The rules need to be adjusted and refs must stand players up after no more than a minute. The butt scoot approach is the ultimate in passive-aggressive no-heart style grappling. Boooo 👎🏼
