I feel way better about insisting on helping my sister with house work while she was pregnant now, she always said she was perfectly capable and not an invalid, but she didn't exactly inspire confidence in her capabilities like she normally did, so thanks for this. Ps she always said she was happy when I vacuumed and stuff after she had the baby as she seemed constantly exhausted for the first 6 months or so😅

Есть разница. Муж навесил на себя килограмм 12, а у нее здесь будет 4-5кг с учетом околоплодных вод, и только к концу срока. Несмотря на этот, вроде бы небольшой вес, у моей мамы из-за него, например, случился сильный радикулит.

Yes BUT on a full bladder and full stomach, with a stirrer straw in his mouth to exhale, and listening to random whispers of you're fat, you're ugly, you won't be a good parent and all the other things the hormones make a mom think over the course of 9 months...all to get a fuller picture of hard to breathe, constant need to pee and reflux and sadness at the changing body and fear that comes with pregnancy. He should do it a full 24 hours the first or second month of her pregnancy so he can realize what's about to happen to BOTH of them and why he needs to not take anything personally then AND be more supportive. He should get a glimpse of the hell she is going through not to warn her but to help mitigate it so she can be closer to her old self faster for them both and their relationship. It would help many marriages because the number one time a man cheats other than his midlife crisis is during her pregnancy. They might not if they have more understanding and preparation.

Imagine those watermelons inside you, pressing against organs and private areas as well as kicking, punching, and flipping around like an acrobat. No contraction rigs or weights on a person's body can truly emulate pregnancy.

Its always cute when they try to do this and they say they now understand. But in reality they dont because theres still so much more to it. Its inside of you so theres alot going on internally, and thats not even considering the new harmones and all the complications they can cause. My hips fell out of joint because my body did too good of a job producing whatever it is that helps loosen them up for birth lol plus theres any sickness, i could go literally on and on. So its great that they empathize slightly they still have no idea lol Now its time for him to try the labor simulator!! 😂 And then again theres way more to labor than that can show also 😂

Oh gosh, the driving! I had to drive my brother’s stick shift for a couple of weeks while I was many months pregnant. I have short arms and short legs. Baby would kick the steering wheel a lot because I had to sit so close to it in order to reach the clutch. 😂

There's an area harder to shave with a big belly... Also, for me, back aches are the least of my problems. It's the pelvic pain that killes me. I have pelvic girdle pain and the pain levels can get to 10 just by trying to roll in bed. Pregnancy takes a toll on pur bodies, men can never understand. But he's a trooper for trying to! My siblings and I found out that every time our mother was pregnant with one of us four, that she would move furniture around, and when our father came home from work, he had to check for his favorite chair before sitting down, because she had moved it. When she told us that the four of us started cracking up laughing. The women in our family always moved furniture around when they were pregnant, it runs in the family.
