You can actually hit 3rd button at the place you wait, by hanging on the side of the box closest to the wall and doing a flick to gain extra height whilst jumping and turning. If you did it right, you should just barely hit the button with your hand and land on the wall and hop off. Its a neat gameplay skip and saves runs if somebody dies on the route.
