If the soil is so soft to be sliding down like that on the house, you should check the foundation thoroughly before proceeding any further, because rain will be falling heavier and at regular intervals/ climate change) and you dont want to find yourself sliding down into the gully during heavy rain. Jbud try and get some awning to go over ur windows and veranda to prevent the rain 🌧️ from entering onto ur veranda. Build a wall around your house to hold back the landslide from coming down on ur house. Plus u need a wall from top towards your steps down to the bottom.

Dig a swale to both sides of the house. It'll buy you plenty of time until you get the wall. Cheap, little sweat but a permanent fix. The swale will direct the water
