I moved to an old farm when I was 33. Every time I would find something.....a horse shoe, a square nail, a chain, I considered all of it a "gift from the farm".....I guess all that stuff you find is a gift from the river : )

😊great dives.... How do you prevent the shark teeth from cracking when they dry out? Second, that rock with the two indentations is a real mystery. I watched a man on KZbin that had collected many specimens like yours. One rock had like 8 indentations. He said he couldn't figure out what it was used for. He had thought about it for a long time and each idea he had was trashed. It's still a mystery according to him. But they were always found around American Indian activity. And the hole is chipped out , not smooth, like yours is. Even in hard stone the hole shows signs of being chipped out, not smooth - like nuts were broken in them, which would show a smooth surface. I'm thinking they were used to make beads, where the chipping would be where the bone or turquoise or whatever was set down and worked like an arrowhead would be. Sounds good to me.

I'm pretty sure the rock with the hole worn in it was for starting fire. They would hold the rock in the palm of one hand to hold a stick with the string of a bow wrapped aroun to spin . Lots of friction and heat at the other end of the stick will light dry grass pretty quickly
