Options 1) Clean up and hope it doesn't happen again. 2) Build waterproof wall around property 30cm higher than flood level, set pump at lowest part of property to pump out rain and flood seepage water. 3) raise all buildings 30cm higher than flood level. 4) Raise land 30cm higher than flood level. 5) Move. My grandpa did 2, 3& 4. He built the wall, jacked up all buildings 60cm higher than flood level, back-filled his property inside the wall then lowered the buildings to ground level. It took him 2 years to complete.

Hi Lý Mai A suggestion Try increasing the river bank on your side by stone bolders (medium to large size) by 3 - 3.5ft high strengthen it with cement. Have 2 additional similiar terraces to tackle the influx of water. Yes, its labour intensive ... if not planning to move. Take care Be safe. Hardships are inevitable. Strife ahead. Consult your brother Kong. May God guide & lead you. Very Important STOP using plastic. Avoid caging pets in small spaces ...

Our Ranch is located on some relatively high ground. But the water of Lake Missoula was 100 feet above our location at one time. Maria no es un calentamiento global es que lo que pasa es que seguro han desviado el río y por eso pasa eso, otro punto allá llueve mucho y es muy normal las inundaciones como en español america por ejemplo mi pais Guatemala siempreviva en los tiempos de lluvias hay inundaciones y caidas de puentes por eso hay que construir altas las casas hay un pueblo que se inunda cada ves que llueve mucho y los ríos se desbordan no es calentamiento global.

Mai, becareful in cleaning your house n surroundings. There might be snakes hiding. Your place is nice but the problem is when typhoon comes. Disaster is everywhere along the river bank. Everything you put up is ruined by flood. Consider look ing for another safe place to live.
