Because we have CHIMPS, MK isn't considered cheating on these badges. If you want a MK-less run just because you haven't unlocked it yet, you really need to play the game more; they're designed to help you in situations like these. Always look for CHIMPS if you want to see strats without MK. But the strats for non-CHIMPS badges will always use MK.
