Flooding at the Homestead after Thunderstorms

Had a severe line of thunderstorms move through one evening and came out to see the back yard being flooded.. This isn't something new though and has been happening for years.. The cause is from more homes being built in the vicinity and people filling in their yards making the the water run off more difficult.

It looks like the other two houses built their ground up, so I’ll puddles in your yard.

Yes! That contributes to the problem because the water can’t move.. I would love to raise my whole yard but then someone would call on me because the water is going into there yard..

The two house to the right, the one you can’t see in this video both built garages and their land is much higher now so that really hurt because the water moves towards the lake and now can’t go that way at all..
