Floor wrote this during lockdown as several other ones on her first solo album which deal with her longing at that time to be heard again and performing for a live audience. Floor 'saved' me since I first heard her on the Dutch TV show 'Beste Zangers' and became a Flooraholic in an instant. My mother suffered from Alzheimer in that time, so it was 'fortunate' that shortly after the Covid situation developed and I had to work from home, I could take care of my mother also. She died just as the lockdowns were lifted, but I still need my Floorgasm every day.

Ya......SHE got something magic in HER voice.......... I am collecting informations from professionels about technics and stuff and how to bring emotion to a voice since years.......but no one....again no one could explain to me that magic...... A comment I read somewhere was: SHE grabs your soul, totally takes it apart and puts it well together again and you feel fine after that....... Yessss I can hear you my GODDESS!❤❤❤

Yep. Something about Floor's voice just gets you in the feels, regardless of what style she is singing. I don't know exactly what it is. Is it the timbre of her voice? The way she can shift between so many different subtle nuances of sound in the same phrase or even in the same word? Her placement of those shifts to create an emotional connection with the song and by extension the listener? I guess it is all of that and more.
