She has a solo album coming out in March, a new one "Daydream" comes out Friday. You should also check out "Fire" and "Storm" already released from her upcoming album. Her solo album is purposefully not metal or like Nightwish, because she just wanted to do some other things on the side. She still loves her metal and Nightwish with no plans to leave.

This is a fantastic song, I absolutely agree. And I really love this new direction, as it shows just how versatile, well rounded and multi-dimensional an artist she is. I do love that she's having such a blossoming of her career; she gets to rock out to Nightwish, then become a classy chanteuse in her solo work. And we get to enjoy every bit of it 🙂. And we're truly enjoying your enjoyment of it as well, which is an added bonus in itself 🦊😸 (Note my addition of the Fox God, along with a cat because... I love cats!)

There are live versions already, but they're appearances on tv or radio shows, with a really small audience. She did a few in the Netherlands and she did Storm on Sing meinen song.

​@@rnowak85 yes she added Me Without You for the first time at Hertme. At Pinkpop she sang both Fire 🔥 and Storm . Fire, the first time was at Paaspop. That was great !!! It was the very first time that festivals were allowed again, after Covid. It was pure joy and emotion, to be there.

The tradition continued with some people saying she was leaving Nightwish with this song as a hidden message. And the existence of her upcoming solo album in general must mean she has left the band. There are always some who say its over for Nightwish after every little thing happens. So let me state the obvious in case it pops up here, Nightwish is not the you she is without. If you become a Nightwish fan for many years you will encounter all the different traditions eventually. I am partially just having a laugh here but also it's true.

She’s got the next single coming this Friday, I really hope you’ll listen to it for us to also enjoy. So far I have LOVED her solo stuff. I like watching the Nightwish reactions, but don’t think I’ll ever attend a show because it’s too heavy for me personally, as I am more into singer-songwriters. But her solo work, all of it, super impressive. Going to see her in April and December for her solo tour. Because I have to see her live and don’t think once is enough.

Floor really can do no wrong. Although Nightwish is a bit of a stretch for them, I got both my daughter and my niece hooked on Floor with this song. The Enchantress strikes again!! Dear Debbie, As you are a Newby reacting to Nightwish I am a Newby watching your reactions and it is always a blast!! Not only seeing you enjoying the music but also find out what the song means! That is wonderful to see. There are a lot of fake reactors out there. I watch them for about one tenth of a second and then skip! There is only a handful of reactors I watch and you are defenitly one of them!! Floor is an adorable down to earth person, an empathy just like you and she is high sensitive! You should watch a sort of documentary about her to get to know her even better. It's a school reunion with her former classmates and shows her musical journey. Her parents are in it too. I would love to sent you a link to that but I'm a complete idiot when it comes to computers but hey I'm 65! 😂 Please keep up your reactions to Nightwish and Floors solo work!! Can't wait for the next one!!! Also you mentioned loving Queen and harmonizing. I suggest you watch three sisters called O3gen pronounced O Jean they will blow you away with them covering Bohemian Rhapsody!! They even got compliments for it from Queen themselves!! Floor is great indeed. But there are other great singers out there as well. You've already discovered Simone Simons (Epica), but you should also give Sharon Den Adel, Charlotte Wessels, Marcela Bovio, Lori Lewis, Cristina Scabbia, Dianne Van Giersbergen, Anneke Van Giersbergen (one of Floor's influences, not related to Dianne), Ambre Vourvahis, Liv Kristine, Clémentine Delauney, Päivi Virkkunen (aka Capri), Sabine Edelsbacher, Alissa White-Gluz, Courtney LaPlante and Doro Pesch (the godmother of female metal vocalists) a listen. Here's another reaction worthy of my morning coffee :))) You noticed correctly, the genre addressed by Floor in her new solo career is not metal. That was the first version of this song to hit youtube and was overshadowed by the official video and other performances of it, but somehow it remains my favorite version. Her non-verbal vocal runs sound better to me in the forefront rather than put in the back like the official, and when she goes back to the lyrics, she hits it with a more soulful grit. And I just liked the atmosphere more. Smoke machine, with her outfit and the instruments, made it feel like a bluesy jazz club or something.

you should do more of her covers and solo. she started the covers during the corona Lockdown and measures to prevent all concerts from happening and she also had to sing to keep training her voice. she started with her cover of : Frozen 1 Let It Go because her daughter kept watching the movie over and over and she kept hearing the song and she actually sang it a bit to her daughter like "mom can do this with this song" . she did a fantastic job and Disney really missed out on not asking her to do it . Floor can do any Genre she sets her mind to. I like the happy look at me my life's so much better bit near the end. When this song first came out i thought please God no she hasn't left Hannes has she?. He's such a nice guy and father to there child?. But no thank goodness. If it was anyone this song was about it would be Sander Gommans who left her for Amanda Sommerville who was her vocal couch and according to allegations floating around the internet he slept with Amanda while Floor and Sander was in a relationship that really really Broke Floor's heart.

Bit of a strange one this. First off, I love it. That's because I relate to the story and it is delivered impeccably and with emotion that only Floor could bring. And I say that because the songwriting isn't up to the usual standards you expect from Floor with Nightwish. But after all, Tuomas didn't write it so of course that's the case. She have said that doing metal as a solo artist is kind of pointless since she's been doing that for over 20 years and is in one of the biggest band in the genre. She also said that pop doesn't mean that she will do any Britney Spears kind of thing where alot of the focus is on other things than the music. No disrespect to Britney.
