As always, your reaction was wonderful. If you can, watch the video about Floor's life done by a Dutch TV show. You will get to see some great behind-the-scenes information about Floor. Her mother and father are also in the video, visiting the Tampere concert with Nightwish. Praying for you.

Floor wrote this song for her mother, it always has an impact on her. Emma Heesters sang this to Floor in Beste Zangers show (where singers sing each other's stuff), worth seeing since it just elevates Floor on humanity scale.

Floor is a highly sensitive person, an empath. Obviously, she empathized with her mother when her mother was suffering. As she explained to us in several videos, this ability is a blessing and a curse at the same time, because she involuntarily resonates with the emotional states of those around her, sometimes with negative consequences. This explains to a good extent her unique ability to convey emotions when she sings, as well as to reflect the energy of the audience when she is on stage.

I'm breathing, so I win (for now)... 😆💃🏼 Yeah, I kinda lost it. I don't do self-pity. It isn't rational. It's just how my conditions (which are ongoing) affect my offspring. ❤️ Boulders get thrown in the road, and you can go back the way you came, sit and cry about your lot in life, or figure a way past the damned thing...

This song connects with many of us in different levels. It's so sad to hear about your pain but so glad we get to enjoy your company now. My Mother was diagnosed with dementia at aged 60 and she was given 6 years to live. She's still alive after 8 years but heavily medicated now. She doesn't know who i am or where she is and has recently stopped talking. She's just just a frail shell of the woman she once was. But i still love her and visit her. But that's just one of my stories and yes i tear up every time i here this song. Floor has this ability to touch hearts and souls.

No need to hide the tears. You earned the right to them! They make us human. This song hits me in the feels too for somewhat similar reasons as you, although not as extreme as your experience. But it is enough to know the pain and others (including one's physicians) not being able to comprehend what it feels like. 30 years for me, currently. KZbin doesn't give us the hugging "Care" emoji like Facebook does, so just consider it here: PS. Not only did you earn the right to tears, but you also earned the right to "say whatever the f*** you want!" So, rock on, sister! 😆

At one point in my life I was diagnosed with MS. The neurologist told me I had it, had all the symptoms, but they couldn't prove it... What happened was, that I shortly lost my memory after a therapist, without consent, suddenly cracked my neck. You know, like a chiropractor. The next few weeks pain increased and ultimately the memory loss... This therapist worked at a laboratory where I ordered some lab. tests. It turned out I was low on vitamin D and also low on a very important hormone called DHEA (adrenal). I am telling you this because I feel it is somehow related to your health issues. After I took DHEA supplementation and the vitamin D (5000 i.u.) most of the symptoms went away. A main cause of neuropatic pain is a damaged nervous system. I know DHEA, and probably vit D as well, play an important role in r aestoring damaged nervous tissue. Just wanted to share this... all the best 🙏

I'm sorry for your troubles. I'm glad they figured it out. I actually know what I have: spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease (I have a spinal cord stimulator implanted), primary sclerosing cholangitis (a degenerative liver condition), chronic supraventricular tachycardia (the electrical part of my heart is glitchy), and I have an ileostomy (no large intestine), so my diet is crazy... BUT I maintain a sunny disposition in life, because it feels way better than self-pity. 💃🏼 I appreciate your words. Stay well...
