Dedicated to all people who have loved ones and friends who are suffering and show strength in tough times. I wrote this song for and about my mother who struggles with a chronic disease yet has always been there for me and my family. Performing this track always touches me and makes me emotional. Hope you are all doing well!

Wow. This one jumped into my heart in a huge way. Mom passed from leukemia back in 1998 and right to the very moment when she just couldn’t any more, she did everything she could for us kids. Then is was our turn to do for her as she did for us. This brought her face right back to me just now. One of my most precious gifts I possess is the memory of her last words to me just before she passed. “Scotty boy, I love you. You’re my Angel.” Dear God do I miss that woman. Thanks for that Floor. ❤️😎❤️

But i can't ignore the pain a 'small' country is suffering facing the demons of a man that lives in the past. Floors voice and music can help healing. I love it and I hate it at the same time. In 2006, I was driving my car to a Marillion concert in Krakow (Poland) and I listened to the album After Forever - Remagine all the time. A few days earlier my long-term love had ended, and we both liked Strong. That's why I have mixed feelings listening to this track, but mostly positive. Bows to Floor from a small village in Poland. ps. my almost 8 year old daughter loves Nightwish and Floor, Élan is number 1 for her 🙂

Om de zes maanden naar de dokter om een spuit te zetten om de pijn te onderdrukken. Opereren is niet aanbevolen daar de kans bestaat om verlamd, en dus in een rolstoel te belanden 95% is. *English* Thank you Floor, this one touches me to the bone. Like your mom, my mom is in a similar situation..... worn out back vertebrae, and thus very much in pain. Every six months to the doctor for a syringe to suppress the pain. Surgery is not recommended as the risk of paralysis, and therefore ending up in a wheelchair, is 95%. Liefs uit/love out of Maastricht, The Netherlands.

My mother battled cancer and renal failure at the same time ....one day chemo the next day dialysis and she would come home so sick and tired but she tried her hardest not to show me and my brother what she was going through , she would always smile at us and say that everything is ok and that we had nothing to worry about ..... but we knew how sick she was , we would hear her crying in her bedroom and getting sick in the bathroom .....Rest in paradise Mom.

This is my favorite song of all time from you. It is so beautiful and touching and gives me goosebumps and watery eyes every time I listen to it and I've probably listened to it hundred of times. I'm truly sorry for you losing you mum. Sometimes when you know how much pain someone you love suffers, and there is no respite from the pain, it feels that they probably feel peace at the end. My mum died when I was 15 unexpectedly and even all these years later I still feel deep sadness but I know now that it was probably for the best for her! I will be 72 hears old on the 17th March this year and I still miss my mum every day. Try to be strong and although she is gone, she will never be gone in your heart!! I wish you good luck and peace for the future. Ronnie

Thank you for this, just seeing it now, my mother passed away last Thursday after a few days of fighting to let go, the final battle she could not win. She has had a hard life with much pain, loss and battling various health challenges. She would always smile and laugh things away, always asking others how they were doing. The last few years of her life she slowly faded away because of Alzheimer's, she is now finally free.
