What a great reaction. It is so much fun to see. This is the first time that a lot of these people would have seen Floor. She sure does have stage presence. Awesome 😁 That was their opening song at Wacken, so their fireworks, naturally, are blowing ones head of. With this song they introduced Floor Jansen to the whole Wacken community 2013 (they had to convince 80k people) 👌 If you want some song that goes somewhat the complete opposite side *Nightwish Stargazers* at Tampere. Or *Nightwish Sahara* at Tampa.

This was the opener at Wacken, 82000+ fans rocking north western Germany! Nightwish was the headliner of this 4 day festival and came out and killed it. This was the biggest show of the tour which was near the end of the Imaginaerum tour. The band was so happy and hitting on all cylinders so to speak. At the early part of this 18 month tour they were faced with firing Annette and flew in Floor from the Netherlands. 24 hours latter she had learned 15 songs and performed her first show with Nightwish. The video you watched with Tarja was the final show with her and she was unaware of the firing which happened right after the End of an Era show, which was captured on DVD. The boys were very nervous during that show knowing it would be the final one with Tarja. Dale, you gave the correct answer. Let's not fuel the fire. All 3 singers were great. each had their own special qualities, but I must admit I love Floor. She gives the band a more aggressive metal appeal, as well as being very sexy with class of course. All hail the Valkyrie Queen of Metal! Oh yeah, great reaction video boys!

Subtitle for this song: Hello Metal World! Meet Floor! This was their first BIG show with her in the Walhalla of Metal, Wacken. Before this they toured the US and did a few smaller festivals in Europe so there was much anticipation and curiosity among the fans. This was their first gig and I think that it's safe to say that ice was broken immediately.

Many of the people there had no idea what Floor was like, it took her like 4 seconds to completely win them over(as you could see). I love Tarja but too often her stage presence made me think of a frenetic model with a microphone. Really to properly see Tarja, you need to see her solo stuff, Victim of Ritual at Wacken 2016(I think), or her cover of Supremacy by Muse. She is still fabulous in her own Tarja way, but Floor......(I love to point this out, she & Floor are pretty good friends , I love that, it feels so right)

Indeed you seem to be ready for it, enough info to know what its about... 'cause its about Tuomas being depressed after parting ways with band founding member Tarja, fans upset, etc... Remember they had NO singer (ok, no female singer) at all for allmost 2 years, future unknown... and then Anette, which was quite some shift in music character...It was allready a good song, quite complex, long, different parts, background story... and then came Floor and upped it into a fantastic piece... like her angelic voice in part3 (coming after harsh Part2, similar 5 after 4), and the true positive, optimistic part 5 and ending... allways tears in eyes, many people acknowledge same...

Boys the opening song to start the great Wacken concert. This is how you come out of the gate full tilt and continue for the next 14 songs!!!! Emppu is always running around and goofing off throwing pics into the audience BUT when it is his turn to carry the song look out, he may not get as much solo time as other metal guitarists but he is their equal and then some especially when he goes into that stretch (look out it is wailing time). Great reaction and Tarja version was great as well but this Wacken concert is something else as the band brought their A+ game and Floor having been just been made a member of the band before the show after being a sub for 10 months went at it like the Dutch dynamo she is. Great reaction guys and if you want another great song to compare try Sleeping Sun. Tarja's version is the signature operatic vocals over Nightwish symphonic metal (kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5C1g4CIja-Krqs) and Floor's version with her updated 2.0 blend (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKTSpZ-wp56qhNk). Each is great and if you have a personal preference that is fine it doesn't diminish either version. To my opinion there is no reason for a comparison between Tarja and Floor. The band as a whole has evolved over time and the chemistry at that time was great (and still is). So judging about the singing quality alone is just a matter of taste. Floor and Tarja are friends and have no intention to show who is singing better. Stagepresence is one of the trademarks of Floor. However, Floor not only performs the songs, but interprets them & gives them life with her amazing vocals, facial expressions & body language. the debate who is better is rubbish, we all have our opuinion, lets just enjoy them all they are after all great singers all of them. so its basicly a preferance who u like the best. my personal opuinion is floor due to the diversety but the newer stuff of tarja she also shows better diversety so what would have happend if she was still in nightwish who knows. but enjoy and have youre opuinion and i have mine no one is wrong or right IMO :)

I suggest "Beauty OF the Beast" again (not to confuse with "Beauty AND the Beast"). One of there best Songs and their first epic 10 Minutes songs. But "unfortunately" there is only one version so far and that of Tarja (so no Tarja/Floor Deathmatch this time). On YT there is a live Version as well. The Concert was in Amsterdam.

You guys should listen to Swedish Sabaton ( the drummer is married to Floor Jansen). I can recomend Sabaton live in Woodstock, Poland ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3fOiqukopxjrMk ) or any of their videos. Sabaton is a power Metal band and writes about song from the war histories like WW1 and WW2.

Well.... You're English (or maybe I insulted you and you're Scottish?) maybe north of London? Luton? Just guessing.... Anyway, I digress, since you're English, you can hardly be expected to properly pronounce names from the most difficult language in the world (Finnish). Still, "j" in most Nordic languages is pronounced as you would pronounce "y", so Tarya is good enough. If you want details, ask a native Finn (I'm Swedish and know a lot of Finns, so I've heard Finnish a lot, but I'm not a Finnish speaker), but the "a" should be more open, almost like in "five" (in "BBC english, not "foyive" as you pronounce it....), the "r" should be rolling. The melody is TAR-yah. Side note: Finnish is probably the best language in the world when it comes to swearing, but to give you examples, you need a real Finn to swear at you.... :-) There's a Finnish word "Perkele" which means "devil" (sort of). It's so popular that there's a term for no-nonsense, straight-forward, no-bullshit management style that's called "management by Perkele" both in Finland and Sweden. Side note to the side note: Finland and Sweden used to be one country way back in history, but there are still many Swedish speakers in Finland. Also, Nightwish is Finnish and Floor is Dutch, living with the Swedish drummer from Sabaton in Sweden, not that far from me actually. About an hour away (which is close by in Sweden) I think.

No problem with that...they never crossed their ways at Nightwish, safely divided by several years between them... so whichever a person likes more, doesnt change things, just personal preference.
