For me Tarja is simply untouchable!!! That is why I prefer to listen to the Tarja era songs of Nightwish sung by Tarja and she continues to put out music that is amazing :)

not much more. A litle bit better in opera. But for all the rest Floor are alot better than Tarja. Floor can sing everything. Metal, pop,growl,high note at chest voice . But for pure talent Floor are considerate of one of yhe top 5 female singer all kind of music in the world right now and Tarja are not in the discussion .But yep Tarja are a litle bit better to sign high notr in opera but her voice arass me .

I give you the point for the opera kind of singing, Tarja are a litle bit better than Floor and its normal Floor studied opera only one year. But for all the rest chest voice, high note, growl ,charism Floor are superior. Floor are considerated of one of the top 5 female singer in the world right now and Tarja are not in the discussion . its the reason that all the vocal coach prefer Floor. She was so versatile. Sincerely i never like Nightwish if Tarja are the snger now. Her voice arass me and she only capable to sing opera kind . In Nemo its ok, she not sing to much opera ish in this song .

Floor versus Tarja: makes no sense. They are befriended and they deserve both respect and admiration. Whoever is longing for Tarja back in NightWish is living in the past. That said: with Floor it became NightWish 2.0 On stage she is the eight world wonder: vocals, storytelling, performance, charisma, empathetic and reaching out to the members of the band and the audience. I am in awe and a fan for life, in case you you had not noticed.😎🤘

All hale? I think you meant all hail lol. But no, Tarja is nowhere near to being the best voice in female symphonic metal and not even in the operatic kind of singing. There are tons of singers in symphonic metal that are much better than Tarja in the operatic kind of voice. Lori Lewis from Therion/Aesma Daeva and Chiara Malvestiti from Therion/Crysalys are definitely in another level than Tarja, they're actual opera singers in metal. Helena Iren Michaelsen from Imperia, Laura Macri from Mayan, Amanda Somerville, Dianne van Giersbergen ex-Xandria, Bridget Fogle from Luca Turilli"s Dreamquest are all better than Tarja. Emanuelle Zoldan from Sirenia/Trail of Tears, Manuela Kraller ex-Xandria, Melissa Feerlak Ex-Visions of Atlantis/Therion are at the very least on the same level as Tarja. Even Floor back then in her last years in After Forever, around the time when she had studied opera singing, was better than Tarja. And we're only considering the lyrical kind of singing so nope, not even close to a queen or the best. Unless you value fame over anything else? Because she's probably more famous than them, but you could say that Rihanna is the best then as well. Um yeah I've never really understood what's with this irrational praise and sort of weird bizarre cult devotion for Tarja.

Both are untouchable, but my personal vote goes to Floor. I would say that, to my ears: Technique for Tarja is 10/10 and emotion is 9.5/10. And for Floor, technique is 9.5/10 and emotion reaches 11/10 😍

Floor....but why only Shoemaker?? Tarja...for me too much over the top. Floor has more warmth and color and that's what i prefer. No mistake, Tarja is a great singer but it's pure personal.

Tarja only capable to sing opera kind. Never use her chest voice or rarely. Floor are better than Tarja by far because she was one of the most versatile female singer in the world. She can sing pop,metal, growling and her chest voice are simply incredible.

In my opinion, Floor Jansen is a great artist who tries so bad to redo and re-version most things Tarja has done in her past trying to surpass them but she just doesnt. She tries to leave Tarja's shadow, but she never will. She is in Nightwish, but she will always be the replacement singer. Not the original, not the best, the great replacement and overall the singer who lives her dream: being in the band that she admired for so many years. So good for her. She now will have her solo career with the milk that took from the big cow. Lets all hope her a great success =)

The Statistics show that during its existence After Forever was a steady member of the top 3 to 5 (that is world-top!) of most searched for Symphonic metal bands. Furthermore has always been a regular contributor to prestigious top quality projects like Ayreon, Star one, Northward and a regular guest in dozens of other bands and projects. Tarja on the other hand has ONLY been in one(!) major band in the whole of her life (Nightwish), and after being fired there Tarja has never been in any other important bands and has been filling her days with moderately succesfull solo projects and a handfull of cooperations with other bands, such as Within Temptation. Actually Tarja has Floor to thank for the fact that she still has a carreer at all... It is the enormous amount of attention that Floor has generated with her spectacular version of Ghost Love Score (most reacted to video on YT with more than 1500 reactions and about 100 million direct and indirect views) that has indirectly also generated new interest in Tarja. Finally: "voice that scares him"? Well there you are right bro. Tarja's voice is indeed scary, as in: scary-bad. Tarja's voice has some many problems that I can not listen to it for more than a few minutes.
