Yea and sometimes you underestimate how little you actually have to move. Ofcourse this has a lot to do with players speed and movement. But I have noticed that move a little bit to much from time to time. However, I think I do that most of the times since I expect my defender to take a little bit of the angle towards the far post side.

How many leagues are there between SSL and yours ?

Regional division (as the one I play in) end at Division 2 level. Regional divisions can go as low as division 5. Then you have the Swedish floorball federation which has Division 1, Allsvenskan and then SSL.

If I may offer constructive criticism as a fellow goalie who has been goaltending for over 20 years and has been actively training with a goalie coach for 4 years. First of all, I really like your work near the goal posts. There is nothing to complain about there. What I don't really "like" is the "non-florbal" solving of some situations. In particular, on the first goal you had your legs in reverse, which means you always have space on the near post. At the left post you're perfectly fine, it's the right post stance that makes the problem. Otherwise, great saves, I like your aggressiveness after catching the ball. Yeah, one goal was after that a defender made a mistake and stopped playing. One was an own goal, which just happens. And that last goal could maybe been solved by being more aggressive on a ball that went very close to the small crease. But otherwise I really like your catching style, great job, keep it up!!!

So what you're saying is you always want to have your extended leg towards the middle of the goal?
@FloorballGoaliePoV10 ай бұрын
The reason why I sit like that is because I cant rotate my hip outwards due to complications created from my two ACL operations. My mobility is highly limited on the right side.

@@FloorballGoaliePoVOh crap. That sucks.
@Floydos8510 ай бұрын
@@RVAFloorballWell, not always, because with the extended leg you get „locked“ in the stance and moving in the direction of the outstretched leg is almost impossible. Our goalie coach wants us to stay in the basic stance as long as possible because then it's easier and faster to move sideways. But personally, I think it's up to each goalkeeper because we're all different.
