I am just back to paper arts after 15 years of teaching jewellery making. It turns out that paper is my true love. When I came back I knew I did not want to do what I had done in the past. I loved Steampunk, darker colours and rich old world images. I decided that I would just watch a whole lot of KZbin videos of paper artists and find what spoke to me at this time in my life. Well, I have found it! Soft, sophisticated, shabby, lacey and feminine. What you make Angela excites me and makes me want to start on this new journey. I love your attention to detail as that is important to me. I love the "putzy" stuff. I need a printer and then to learn how to print your papers but those are just the details. I have found what speaks to me and that is so very exciting! Thank you so much for sharing and teaching Angela. I must say your style of teaching is encouraging and very relaxed. You make people feel like they can do this! I am sure going to give it a try. Hugs.

I left my comment before I watched, because I wanted to watch it on the tv, but gosh, the video started while I was gathering up some things, and this is what I like so much about your beautiful style of art -- I would have never in a zillion years thought to tie a simple bow around the top of a paperclip. I've made little covers, and I purchased gold ones, but that little smidgen of extra care changes everything. I appreciate so much all you do and share. It's not easy and is time consuming, but it's obvious you share with an open heart, and the people who are drawn to your channel are all wonderful and so talented and inspired by you, as well. Angela, these pages are some of my favorites! And I have that beautiful sheer pink and white lace, so I can’t wait to use it. It is such a feminine look which I adore! The glassine bag is also adorable. I have my homework assignment from you this weekend and can’t wait to get started! I think it’s wonderful if you offer a kit to those who don’t have a printer. Also something else to maybe consider, the workshop you and Carol are doing together or a future classes, maybe offer it as a payable “teachable class” for those of us who live in the states or other countries and can’t travel there. Just had to make me go through my laces! Oh I could get so lost, but finally found two pieces I was happy to use. Just need to make a vellum envelope and all done. I have run out of words - for fear of repeating myself this episode is beautiful. I love the sampler that lace panel is just beautiful. Love the idea of it being a curtain hiding the journaling but still leaving it a little visible. My journal seems to be very fat and if it is to fit into the same size cover that we did for the vintage recipe JJ it isn’t going to fit- well mine will not! But I am sure you will address this if it proves to be the situation. I would have loved to have had the kits printed out but having purchased the HP Envy which prints beautifully there isn’t a need. But I am sure there are lots of people out there that don’t have a colour printer or indeed one that doesn’t produce clear sharp images who would love this option. Lovely video, particularly enjoyed making the sampler with you. In answer to your question about selling printouts I think it’s a really good idea and I’m sure there would be demand as I spent quite a lot of time before I began this project looking for any A4 ready-printed kits and couldn’t find any. My printer will only print with a white border 🙄

I do feel that sometimes people would like to make the projects, but are stuck if there do not have the means to print. So happy to hear that you have enjoyed the sampler project. You can use any sheer lace or tulle you might have. It also could just be a pretty piece of fabric and not sheer at all. You are such a dear, Sue.
