I know this is several years back but it is so encouraging to me with the step by step demonstrations. I am in charge of the Birthday Cards for my Church. I’ve been watercoloring and doodling. I love doing this art. Again, thank you for taking time to make the videos. Saving all. Blessings, Marilyn from Pensacola, FL.

O CeeCee you make me feel so relax! I make most of your works. I live in Belgium in Europa. Small country but luckely i can buy all the supplies i need. Only the Princeton brushes i have to order in Us which is expensive. But my daughter lives there and when she finally may come over?! she will bring them . Love what you're doing!

I have watched probably 5 of your videos in the last two days (first time ever)and I thoroughly enjoy them! I am learning techniques, being inspired, and encouraged during this time of Covid 19. Your softness and enjoyment and self-discovery of your unique painting style is enjoyable to watch and listen to. I have created 4 paintings since watching your videos. One with the doodling another that was a take-off from that with the addition of words that apply to the recipient of the painting. So, thank you!

Lovely! I love these! I have hydrus liquid watercolors 1st & 2nd set do you know what colors of them,would work to look like the colors you used here. Thanks for sharing 💜😄
@creationsceecee6 жыл бұрын
thank you for your sweet comment. to answer your question, i own only a few colors of Hydrus and i bought them individually. so i'll try to guide you as much as possible with what the colors i have. let's see: i would use ultramarine red violet for the background and a bit of turquoise blue. the flowers i would mix yellow ochre with alazarin crimson. as for the leaves i would get different values of green with sap green and turquoise. you just have to experiment and mix colors. and don't forget that hydrus watercolors are really concentrated to i would make swatches before doing the actual painting. let me know how yours turn out!

Are you using hot press watercolor paper, or cold press?
@nancywatkins58366 жыл бұрын
Also, what brand of colored pencils are you using? Would the prisma colors be too waxy for this application?
@creationsceecee6 жыл бұрын
as mentioned in the video,i am using prismacolor pencils for shading. i usually reach for the polychromos but i got lazy and the prisma were right next to me. but it's still doable with the prismacolors as long as you control the pressure of your strokes. as for the waxy residue? well, if i seal the work, it will take care of that.
