I'm going into a recording studio with a woman I played piano for once and I need her song to the Note for the recording! I'm use to playing by ear so this is a new experience that I'm scared for. I am already looking forward to the next one. Make sure you take the spark plug out of your outboard, flush it with fresh water, let it dry all the way and then try starting it. Same goes for carb.

Hey man quick tip from a fellow sailor. the flatter your sail is the less pressure you have roughly. so before dropping a sail check the tention. In light winds you can ease the control lines. but in medium/high winds make sure you pull the sails flat. Have fun out there

Check the tubes in your engine coolant heat exchanger. Be careful taking it apart with the o rings and or gaskets. You're gonna have to take the carb apart on your outboard.

If you dunk your outboard .... take off the float bowl and dry it out.... turn over the engine with the spark plug out. Change the oil. Put it all back together. THEN PUT A SAFETY CHAIN ON IT TO FASTEN IT TO THE TRANSOM... you know... in case it gets loose. Also... lots of folk turn off the water feed to the main engine. Check it's on before starting the engine, or it will boil your engine....

So happy to find you on YT -- I'm currently binge watching your Season One! You have amazing edits and camera shots, which I'm hoping I can take notes on as we restore a 1965 motorhome before traveling in it. I'm curious: We heard it was bad luck to rename a boat and watching all that has happened past this makes me think about this superstition. I read online that you can rename a boat if you have a renaming ceremony before the new name of the boat is announced or anything dealing with the boat name is taken on board. I don't fancy myself as superstitious but I'm now wondering as to whether you are and if you did have a renaming ceremony?
