I love Florence. What a great video. I will keep it for ideas for my next adventure to Italy. Thanks!

1. Piazzale Michelangelo. Yes, it's lovely. Everyone talks of the noisy sunset shared with hundreds, if not thousands, of tourists. Have you ever considered sunrise? You can have the views and the entire city to yourself. 2. The city. As mentioned, be out at sunrise to get a taste of authentic Firenze. Go to San Marco or around parco delle Cascine for a less tourist infested experience. 3. Santa Maria del Fiore. The best time to see the almost pointless interior is for la Santa messa. There is no wait time. And you can communicate on a spiritual level. - the ceiling is amazing. - the rest is nothing to write home about (in comparison) - the dome climb is booked out months ahead. Tickets are on a combination basis. Personally, I'm happier to forego the dome in favour of il Battistero di San Giovanni, or Santa Rapana 4. Santa Croce. There is an entry fee. But I find this building captivating. I visit each time I go home and spend hours. The audio guide commentary by Gallileo is entertaining. 5. Mercato Centrale. Hardly somewhere you'd go if you're on a budget. Il mercato di Sant'Ambrigio is better and fresher. Of course, the above are just my opinion. Also, consider - Fiesole - chiesa di OgniSanti - Santo Spirito - giardini Bardini to name a few.
