All'antico Vinaio is the best! I discovered it when I was walking around Florence and kept seeing other people walking the opposite direction with sandwich wrappers. Definitely knew I had to find it and it did not disappoint!!

Oh, this video brought me back to our trip last year to Italy! We loved it so much and Florence was such a beautiful place for all its history and beautiful architecture. Also, that was our favorite gelato place and we also went back several times. That's funny. We (my husband, son and I) were just in Italy. Like 2 weeks ago. We traveled all over. Started in Rome and went all over Tuscany and Cique Terre. It rained both the first two days we were in Tuscany, so we just drove around olive country a lot. 😂 Drove because my son is 4.

Looks like an amazing time in Florence, one of my favorite cities!! Just a heads up for next time you are in Italy, if the gelato is piled up high in mounds like that, it is not authentic Italian gelato. The tourist traps will pile their gelato sky high to be eye catching and attract tourists. I believe when it’s like that it is also typically extra bright and loaded with artificial coloring. Authentic gelato is always either below counter and often times not even visible until you order it and they open up the freezer. That is the truly authentic Italian gelato. The other stuff is closer to ice cream. Although still amazing!!☺️😉

My husband and I went to Ireland for our honeymoon 7 years ago now. It was super expensive for us so when I got pregnant in 2022, we didn't go on a babymoon. And tbh, my husband had never heard of that.😅We are trying to save up to continue fixing our house, and maybe one day take our daughter somewhere special.💕
