*"holding hands with someone i just met."* before this song started my GODDESS Florence asked everyone to hold hands with the person beside you + look at them + tell them you love them because you do. nobody grabbed my hand so i was just standing there singing + swaying to the music + a girl behind me smiles at me + grabs my hand

This song actjally made me cry and J dont even know why, I guess her voice and the lyrics, even if yoyre not from tje UM, I had this wiyh Love & Lost also and some othet songs, when Im feeling sometjing. In march Im gonna see her live, I cant wait, we havent had a singer like her in this era, give or tame a few, like Sia, who rben spng pne of Florence her songs fkr a movie, Malificent 2 I believe, not sure yhohgh. But she is a mix of Kate Bush, Siouxsie from the Banshees and Patty Smith, but still diffrrent, her voice reminds me of Björk, its almost beautogjl because it isnt flawless, its a vibration in their viice, as an instrument alnost, a bit out of tune almost, but that makes it so unique. She is one of my favorites the last 4 albums, like Lana, Sia, Beyoncé, Rapsody, Radiohead, Deoeche Mose, Jay Z, Damien Rice, Adèle amo. Music gets better when your older, no pierpressure, I like all kinds of music and from all era's. Its why Im still breathing ...🎶😍🎸🎷📻📱🎼🔊🎧🎹📻🎙🎵

Burnt Spoon Burnt Spoon be glad that you can be proud to say you’re proud. I can’t say the same about being American at the moment. University isn’t free (average student that graduates for their bachelors degree is in debt about $30,000+ and forget even trying to get your masters). Health care isn’t free and Trump is getting rid of ObamaCare (which wasn’t that good either). You pay $800 for an ambulance ride to the hospital. Hospital fees are ridiculous so people have started going to Urgent Cares instead. Our food is pumped with crap and hormones. Our government is corrupt and shit. The only way to make it here is to be rich or be poor and work 2 jobs just to exist. It’s a shitty country and I only recommend going to the east coast or North West if you’re gonna visit. Everywhere else is all sorts of fuckery.

5 years later and I wrote a poem inspired by this. Warm days merit good yeasts. Spring has sprung, Fresh leaves pressed onto Swollen lungs. My mother’s loaf demands to rise. For good days are to make bread. Rent is due and past but do we collect from the sun? Shining off onto pastures, lambs make for good crowns. Allergies waft through summer hay, In the air I am living in a granted state. The rats in their barns, living better than this. We cannot live better than this; sometimes it all falls down. Too fast for freedom. Too far from comfort. Too safe for home.

Have absolutely no bloody clue how but this song it literally feels like i'm at home again. When i'm feeling homesick I just stick this on and i'm reminded of all the memories and people I love, from how me and my mates would muck around Camberwell and Peckham, getting drunk in ruskin park, to how my big brother took me to the Joiners for my first drink when I turned 18. When I go home alone I drive past the place where I was born And the places that I used to drink Young and drunk and stumbling in the street Outside the Joiners Arms like foals unsteady on their feet With the art students and the boys in bands High on E and holding hands with someone that I just met I thought, "It doesn't get better than this There can be nothing better than this, better than this." And we climbed onto the roof of the museum And someone made love in the grass And I forgot my name And the way back to my mother's house With your Blackpool eyes and your bitten lips The world is at your fingertips It doesn't get better than this What else could be better than this? Oh, do you know what I've seen? I have seen the fields aflame And everything I ever did Was just another way to scream your name Over and over and over and over again Over and over and over and over again And we're just children wanting children of our own I want a space to watch things grow But did I dream too big? Do I have to let it go? And what if one day there is no such thing as snow? Oh God, what do I know?
