The Idea is very good but I am thinking of the temperature under the hood can get pretty hot. Can that plastic take that kind of temperature?

Hi Florian thanks for the video; I'm really bad and the rubber plug felt into the hole making impossible to catch it (it looks is underneath the engine compartment); can you find the name or code of the replacement part? thanks cheers

Hi, I cannot find the number, but next time you are at Mercedes, just ask the parts dealer in there, they should find out in seconds.

Haha, I doubt they would make the water bottle as cheap :-D Probably hundreds of $ for the bottle, the implementation and a car wash ^^

@@HHnightmen Ok, Feedback from the experts is: there is no relation between the GPS signal from the command and the battery. Even if you unplug the battery for a longer time (which you shouldn't other then to change the battery), the GPS would sync when used again. But it was mentioned that it is not unheard of that the command control box in the trunk area is affected by a battery change. Proposed solution was to unplug all cables from that box for 5 mins (ignition off) and reconnect them after that (ignition still off). If that doesnt help you will need to see a garage with someone having experience in the Commands (after all quite old now). Hope it works soon!

The mercedes design seems really poor, traps water, below the air feed to the fan, also the risk of water damage to the fan and shorting the battery.
