Don’t buy any other coop, you won’t find one that is built better than these. Cindy puts her heart and soul into every coop she builds and uses only the best quality material. We just had our 16' chicken coop delivered today. The entire process was so easy and smooth We were able to communicate with Cindy throughout the process and she gave us progress reports. She took the time to find out what we wanted and takes such pride in her work. The coop is beautiful and Cindy is such a wonderful person. She delivered our coop herself and we realized the location for the coop was a very tricky area to reach. She patiently and expertly took things step by step to figure out the best way to get it into place. I was very impressed with how she went above and beyond to get the job done. I can't wait to pick up my new chickens and move them into their new home. My friends are amazed at how pretty the coop looks and how big it is. We got Cindy’s smaller coop design. We absolutely LOVE it!!! It’s so beautiful. Her design very obviously has the very worst Florida weather in mind… the rain & heat. I absolutely can’t wait to get my chickens. They’re going to be so very happy with their home. Even a friend of ours said, “looks like you put the guest house in on the property! I was so happy with the first 16' coop I bought two months ago, that I decided to purchase a second one! Relocating from out of state with my birds was extremely stressful. Cynthia built my coop before I got there and she and her husband delivered it the morning after we arrived so my girls would be out of the crate and comfortable after the very long journey they took in the back of my SUV. The quality of this coop is unmatched, and I have had many coops in my lifetime. Solid, sturdy, and very secure while allowing maximum air flow in the Florida heat. I am still amazed at how beautifully crafted the coop is with attention to details that only a chicken would understand! We just got our coop home and I'm ecstatic to be the proud owner of this masterpiece! You will not find a better made or more beautiful coop anywhere! Cindy's thoughtful work shows in every detail from the well thought out ventilation, roosting bars and doors. I'm already trying to find a reason I need another one. They were so careful loading the coop on our trailer ensuring we had no issues in transport. I wouldn't recommend purchasing a coop anywhere else except from Mrs. Cindy!!

I am a proud owner of Cynthia’s personal crafted masterpiece of a 16 ft chicken coop. It sits in my backyard beautifully and invites my neighbor’s envy. The coop is thoughtfully designed and well-structured with high quality materials so that the birds are safe from predators. Every time I look at my backyard, I see my chicken happily roam inside the coop, my heart fills with joy. It is almost therapeutic. Perfect harmony of nature and birds. It is very fortunate that I found “Florida chicken coops” on KZbin and that Cindy agreed to build a chicken coop. There are countless Timex-type choices in chicken coops that lack space, durability, and will require chronic maintenance until replacement. We chose the Rolex style. We have watched the girls getting comfortable, wer'e happier than the day it got here. Quality materials and work[wo]manship are evident. The attention to detail saved us buyer's remorse with other options I've seen in-use, for sale, or what I could have come up with. A second coop is on the list, after we get a new well for the front pasture!

My wife actually delivered a coop to Bradenton just two weeks prior to the hurricane and that customer reached out to us after the storm to let us know that she and her coop made it through the storm with no damage. Why is the coop section open instead of enclosed? I'm sure there is a reason but I just haven't seen that before.

Coop is open because here in Florida we have very little cold weather. The heat and the humidity are our worst enemy therefore ventilation is a must, even at night. The open hen house provides enough structure to keep them out of the bad weather without giving up the ventilation.

Please tell me where in Florida you are ?? Like what city. I just watched my first KZbin video and I'm pumped. 1 question: how would I be able to keep predators from coming up underground or through the 4" gap at the bottom where the 4X4 's are stabilizing the coop ???

Hello Angel, glad you enjoyed the video. The gap is there only because the coop is sitting on blocks for display only. Once delivered the coop sits directly on the ground. No gap, no predators. On my personal coop I lined the outside perimeter with sidewalk pavers once I set my coop. I live in Chiefland fl. Hope I answered all your questions. Thank you for your video. I’m still wondering if I can handle owning chickens well. I fear snakes and predators. How do you keep them out of your coops. Can they burrow in since there is not a floor?

I do not have chickens yet, therefore I am not an expert... But I read that, in order to prevent predators from burrowing & digging their way inside, some people nail hardware cloth to the coop, all around the bottom, like a skirt, and bury it to about 18 inches. Chicken wire is cheaper but it does not do anything. Nail hardware cloth to the windows too.

Apologies for the delay in responding Deborah. I'm not a snake lover either and I would probably freak out as well. I personally have had zero issues with snakes or predators of any kind. My husband has caught several possum, racoons and armadillos in live traps so I know we have them on the property. Have had no problems with predators trying to burrow underneath the coop. You can put floors in coops but truthfully they are a pain in the you know what and they serve no purpose.

We have 10 chickens and a coop... We live in DeLeon Springs FL and I was curious..... You have your coops elevated do you ever have to worry about predators a lot of people say that they even very fencing into the ground to keep predators out being right next to the Ocala national Forest we have all kinds of amazing wildlife some that are a little more interested in chicken meat LOL

Hello Phoenix, those coops are only up on blocks until they are delivered. Once delivered they sit completely on the ground. I have sidewalk pavers lining the perimeter of the coop I built for myself and have had no problems with any critters getting into my coop. I live in chiefland fl, out in the sticks, and have lots of critters that I wouldn't want to get into my coop. Hope I understood and answered your question.
