Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County Vaccine Update: Jan. 14, 2021

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County has received 5,900 vaccine doses to date, with the last 1,000 currently being distributed to the 1A target group: people age 65+, healthcare workers and those in living and working in long-term care facilities.
We are expecting to receive and distribute second doses in the coming weeks. If you have received your first dose, please monitor sarasotahealth.org for details. You will also be contacted via the email or phone number you provided.
We continue to work on an improved registration and queueing system as well as a location near I-75 for drive-thru vaccinations.
