It seems a lot of fans think the starting Texas defense held Florida scoreless, while the reserves gave up 17 points. Texas rotates players to such a degree, that even Coach Sarkisian has said his 1s are his 2s and his 2s are his 1s. Starters don't give up points. Reserves don't give up points. The team gives up points. Regardless, what I do know is that from the beginning of the game, until the end of the game, when Florida had the ball, they were able to successfully run on Texas. It will definitely be an issue against both Arkansas and Texas A&M if the Longhorns do not defend the run better. "Hook Em"

Most of their points against us were from drives that started Georgia's offense in plus territory and our defense still gave us like 4 takeaways only one of which our offense capitalized off of because Quinn admittedly stated he's been playing not to get hurt since coming back from his injury. He said coming off this bye week he was ready roll and it sure looked like it against Florida.

Our defense is never in doubt, we know our defense would've held up their end whether Florida played their 3rd string QB or their 1st. The worry has been over the offense and this is the same defense that kept Florida in the game down to the wire against Georgia and we hung 50 on them and took a mercy knee on like their 5 yard line. Today was definitely a much needed confidence boost for Quinn.
