Actually I would disagree, if I were the judge it would prove she responded even more poorly. ODD, if her nephew has it is a HARD diagnosis. Like most families I know who have kids with ODD have safe rooms for when the meltdowns occur as it often causes violent outbursts if not screaming and tantrums. So she couldn't handle kids playing? She didn't know how to deescalate? So the way I see it is the sister was lying because those diagnosis all mixed together would be a lot if she couldn't even handle kids playing outside yet she was taking him for the weekend? She was neglecting or just sequestering the kid when she had him because she's a pos. Or she knew how to handle these situations and decided to be an awful human instead. So her testimony definitely helped... prosecution.

The heart of the case isn't even the homicide, it's the unmitigated depth of delusion she's still in. She acts as if she's really the primary victim, and had she just got what she wanted, none of this would have ever happened. The stark denial of accountability is blatant. Her privileged behavior awkwardly contrasts the excuses she offers. If her overt mental illness wasn't blessed as harmless hysteria or mild dementia, we'd have prioritized helping a sick senior. It's clearly not a new behavior, nor an isolated case.

An empty lot is still a public place. When I was a kid, we played wherever. Why was she paying that much attention to somebody else’s kids outside playing. Even if she felt like her life was in danger, she should have called the police. Nobody was kicking her door in, the woman simply knocked. She also threw something at one of the kids at a distance which is why the mother went over there is the first place, so technically she was asking for a fight!
@fefemyluv6 сағат бұрын
NOTHING you said warrants shooting that lady, not even in the big toe! It is very normal for kids to play in empty lots. My friends and I used to ride our bikes and run around empty lots. And even if the victim did go “looking for a fight,” the circumstances did not amount to standing your ground. Was she bulldozing the door with a sledgehammer? No! She should’ve waited for the police to come like she did all the other gazillion times she called them. This was senseless. Now, four children are without their mother.
