This was the first season I really watched in full. I remember how the sports media spent months saying Florida was outclassed here and there was 0% chance they even would keep this game close. Crazy how those "Experts" are almost never right.

This was the year Ohio St had that hiesman trophy winner Troy Smith and still lost to that 1 loss Florida Gator team.Chris Leak did a good job carrying that Florida team in the national championship game.Fkorida used Tim Tebow as an option running back before he became starter following the 2007 NCAA football season.Tim Tebow threw fir 29 td's and rushed for 22 td's for a total of 51 total td's and won the 07 hiesman trophy.In 2008 Florida won the National Championship game again with Tim Tebow leading the helm.Too bad Tebow couldnt have a long NFL career.He just wasnt NFL material.

Tebow didn't have NFL coaches that designed an offense around his skillset. Even when he joined Denver his own coach was lambasting him in the media. The support just wasn't there.

I think Vince Young cursed the heisman for a while after he didn’t win in the 2005 season. From 2005 to 2008 heisman winners didn’t win the National Championship until Mark Ingram broke the curse.
