Last season we had trolls during the ECF that made fake accounts and spammed the N word. As you said, it started again last night. I did not see what you said, but if you aligned at all with the spammer then yeah, you are gonna get timed out. YT will demonetize the stream FAST leaving that stuff in. Maybe you need to go watch the video I put out on how to watch this channel a few days ago. If you are not offended or at least disappointed by someone throwing the N word out there simply to troll the channel, I think you are the problem, not us ""snowflakes"

That was a perfect game. Limited their shots, Bob shutout (with some help from 2 posts), laying the boom hits, outskating them, getting a lead early and clamping down the rest of the game with relentless smothering forecheck, love that game. Oh and we stayed out of the box for the most part and our PK was stellar. Would love the PP to pick up but eh I’m nitpicking here.

was at the watch party - their new training facility is amazing. The team store is so cool. The good is cheaper and better than the arena. They have a nice reservations only restaurant. Arena announcer Andrew Imber announced the starting lineup - most fun i had in a long time. That being said, i was shocked with how we came out and played fast and hard - Barkov is crazy good on D. Lundell is so young still - hes gonna be a star. Tkachuk setting the tone - The whole team elevated their play AGAIN. Tarasenko needs to step up - i guess this is why we got him for so cheap lol i

Great point after the 2nd period. It would be insanely stressful to only be up 1 point going into the 3rd any other game. Especially vs a team that everyone is barking about being superior to us. You could just tell how cool our guys were playing it out there.

Am I the only one who noticed that a good majority of the time when we got a shot on net or there was a skater down low with possession there was never anyone crashing the net at the right time. So many rebounds were gobbled up by the Rangers in there own zone it was killing me. Am I the only one who felt this way? Sometimes watching a game with such magnitude, it can be deceiving you know what I mean?

How Rangers react to the own goal is the only question I have. And I mean if they react to it. They shouldn't at all and just focus on important stuff. All I really want is for the both teams to play great hockey. I wouldn't mind if Rangers didn't, but if they beat Florida, I would like Florida to play amazing hockey and be like the better team won and they earned it. But I don't know if Rangers have what it takes if Panthers play to the best of their abilities, the team is just silly deep and Zito has gotten away with robbery on the big signings he has done. Barkov at 10M was fair for when it was signed, but now it's hard to argue you wouldn't want him over any other centers in playoffs. Maybe few are close to even, but their cap hits are miles higher. Guess we're lucky that Selke doesn't bring the bag like Hart or Rocket does. Same continues with the Tkachuk deal, 9.5M with the current trade market for a key player like him seems silly low. And much like Barkov at the time of the signing he wasn't as good, but better than 9.5M for sure. Sure am riding high on this team, but Zito is a wizard. Forsling, how? I don't know if there is other team in the league currently with them being set this well off by the quality of the players and the cap. Yes Reinhart is a pain for the off season, but at the same time I'm not worried about losing his scoring, it's losing his defence am worried. Maybe am wrong in all of this.

Exploratory game by the Rangers, and they fell short. Neither team was particularly good at generating quality chances. As a Rangers fan, the positive is that we can be way better and Florida won't hold up if they continue to put up one goal (I'm ignoring Laf's own goal and the empty netter) and fail to generate more high danger chances. On the other side, this wasn't the Panthers best either, I have to imagine they can be way better.

the game was exactly what I thought it would be - minus the Lafraneirre goal, didn't expect the Rangers to score a goal against themselves. Rangers had their chances, breakaway after the Tkachuk goal had Bob beat hitting the post, and again in the third hitting the post, and missing the net on the PP. This was a 1-0 Hockey game. a battle between two elite netminders. a fluke goal and an empty net goal was not on Igor. Panthers played great defensively, and won the boards, but still had just 1 goal to show for it. Last I checked, Boston lit you up in game 1 in your building, so I wouldn't get all cocky if I was a Panther fan. Still lots of hockey to play.

Agreed on last night's game, but Boston came in rolling and we had a week off with that game one. Every pass we made was off we were totally out of sync. Not saying Rangers cannot win, but the first game against Bruins was a total anomaly.

@@flyingfluffyhockey wasn't so much that Boston lit you up, more the fact that Boston took game 1 in your building. The next game is important, Rangers can't go down 2 games and then go down to Fla. They have to find a way to break out of their end. I'm not worried about shots on goal, because the Rangers get their chances, Carolina out shot us at almost a 2-1 margin, I worry about puck movement. We figured it out against the Canes, we will figure it out against the Panthers.

I watched the game at half the volume that I normally would, because I cannot stand the Ranger homerism coming from ESPN. I love how THG described the Panthers style of playoff hockey as ‘suffocating’ for the opposition. They are made to play on the road! Go Cats!

Bobrovsky making timely saves. He played very well . As expected by a number one goalie. And Florida's physical play with great defense and forecheck proves too much for the Rangers. Lomberg and Tkachuk played a great game!

Rangers couldn't decide what game they wanted to play. And when they did run and gun it wasn't enough. They have to make serious adjustments or be much faster but as a Rangers fan, I have my doubts. Luckily, the Panthers are my second team.

We could definitely afford to tighten up defensively I saw way too many times where the rags had some breakouts. A lot of those could have ended up in the back of the net. We shore that up… it’s gunna be a harder fought game 2. I do think the rags are gunna try and do what Boston tried to do and play physical the problem is that they might try to kill our guys and Shesty is already frustrated. He’s not Swayman or Vasy out there having fun. They will be pissed but will they control themselves? Will the panthers be mature or get pissed?

I will say Adam Fox can't skate at this point it hurt the Rangers against the Canes and he can't skate the puck out of his end like he usually does. The Rangers need to bury some of those chances they did everything but score they need to finish better.

watch my video comparing Igor & Bob this season, you are actually incorrect in terms of goals against, it is the opposite. Igor gave up more than 4 goals FOUR times as much as Bob did, and Bob had huge streaks of allowing 2 or fewer. Some night's Bob's save % looks bad because of how we suppress shots. Take tonight as an example. If Bob had allowed a couple of breakaways his % would end below 900 likely because the Rangers would have been up, so maybe they don't finish with even the 23 shots they had. Would that mean he had a bad game? No. Rangers fans have been discounting Bob the entire lead up to the series, and it ends up being Igor basically handing us Game 1. Maybe its you all who should be careful?

I hope the rest of the series is a little more open Florida got a goal on a bad read by the goalie and just played low-event hockey the rest of the night I honestly thought they were trying to bore the Rangers to death. Obviously you don't want Florida to get an early lead I would have to think they would have opened things up a bit if they were behind. As a Ranger fan I was more worried about Florida's speed and skill but they didn't play like that at all and as long as the Rangers don't fall behind early it should still be an exciting series again with the refs though I wish they would decide to let them play and not call all those ticky tack penalties it was a pretty clean game.

Spot on… The refs were normal, wasn’t much of goalie interference but it is what it is . I’m not gonna cry foul. The refs misses a FOUR MINUTE penalty against the Rangers when they high sticked Cousins causing significant bleeding, so I wouldn’t complain about the refs….Said Panthers fan

The game you saw us play tonight is what we will do 100% of the time unless we are down by more than 2 goals or maybe by 2 with less than 10 to go. It is not exciting for sure, but we learned the formula last season and just did not have the body parts left to finish against VG. Fox being hurt is not helping, much in the way Ekblad being hurt against the Knights was hard on us. Fact is so many of these teams are even, and the teams that win are the ones that get lucky in the early rounds of playoffs and don't suffer many injuries.
