Hello Orlando, the day starts with an egg McMuffin from MacDonald’s, then a visit to the farmers market at Baldwin Park.
I had to visit the Lebanese stand “Hummus Bar” (4:15), which created 21 mixed flavors of hummus, and the result is fresh, creamy amazing acidity, and great packaging.
Cedars Bakery (12:33) showed us the production of Lebanese bread with no preservatives, at the factory the cleanliness is remarkable and the smell of the yeast and dough is mind-blowing.
Chickpeas (19:17) is a Lebanese concept serving shawarma, rice chicken, meat, and lamb, all flavors of the Mediterranean in a bowl. It is really one of the best fast casual concepts I have tasted.
Aya Mediterranean restaurant (30:06) is a family business based in Florida, a father with his girls, it is a place where I felt Lebanon, the falafel is crunchy, homemade stew and the rice is properly cooked.
Next, we reached Miami at Amar’s (47:53) meet & greet, this Lebanese bistro has a mix of cultures that makes it very special, the design is very modern with a clearly organized presentation.
Ended the day at Shishka Lebanese Grill (1:01:45), a very authentic Lebanese restaurant, everything is made from scratch, and very healthy food, they serve very good Lebanese sausage, creamy hummus, and great mhellabieh.
