Then an example of exempt sales for a type of business like mine would be…. if I did a job, that was just labor with absolutely no parts/materials/products used. Which no tax would be due on that. Hello, I just realized some of the companies I've purchased items from over the last couple of years didn't always charge me sales tax. I have only had a resale account to pay taxes online since last year as we've only begun to offer some items for sale (service business). **Can I calculate a total for what I owe in back "use tax" from the last few years (it's not very much) and just pay a lump sum for this quarter? If the answer is that I would have to amend past quarterly returns, I won't be able to amend anything prior to this past year as I don't have returns to amend, as we weren't selling at that time. So what would I do at that point? Thanks!
