@@PBRatLord I like the quote as well, and think it fits. I've thought about Sophia's passing, and really, it's hard for me to come to a conclusion and move on. There's so much bad and injustice in the world. So many young people being taken away too soon. But there's also so much beauty. So much love, kindness, so much good. I guess I just can't take the good things for granted, because they will one day end. My life, yours, the Earth itself, and the very universe will end one day. But now we have it, now we can life our lives and find meaning and hope. Anyway, I hope you're doing well. Good luck with being a thing in the world.

Same comment I posted on The Green Tapes album; I just kinda wanna get this out there. I remember listening to some of this album while riding along on a family vacation this past summer. Its some of the most unique synthwave I've ever heard to be honest. Now last week the news came out that she had unfortunately passed away. Its incredibly heartbreaking since I was really looking forward to new releases from her. My favorite track out of all of her songs is My Childhood Tapes. Of course it is designed to spark that sense of nostalgia, but ever since she passed away, the song now just has an entirely new emotional tone to it. I can't help it but feel sad now that I listen to these tracks, but the best thing to remember is that young Sophia is at peace. Rest easy. Thank you for allowing the a e s t h e t i c s to live on.

We often forget that there are actual lives behind nicknames like Florida, ODDling and Home, I feel such sorrow for Sophie even though the only thing connects me to her is music: it's poetic how she her work form ties with people when you think about it ! especially when it comes to sharing emotions via music, So much empathy and love for Sophie and all beautifull souls behind Synthwave artist's nicknames ! On my opinion Florida Skyline has a lot of other good songs worth of checking out such as That Night At Arcade, My Childhood Tapes, Triangle, Hypomania, Let's Go Home Now, Risperidone, Anesthesia, Roadtrip 26, Morning Vapour, Home - Resonance remix, Cybernetic, Disco 2000, Galactic Swing, Utopian, Set The Dawn, That Song She Wrote~, Away, Deep Seam, finebyme, Ghjornu Theme, SMFM Interlude, In My Head, Wa2, 6.00 AM, Enjoy Your Stay!, Mind Full Of Peace, Utopian. Overall Florida Skyline is good at conveying feeling of nostalgia and calmness into a song. Rest In Peace Florida Skyline. You will always be my biggest inspiration in music.

Anyone get a feeling of being quite jealous? Knowing that Earth isn't what synthwave backgrounds are. Synthwave seems to give people nostalgia of their past, of the present, and what could happen in the future. For me, I use synthwave everyday to relax myself. Knowing that the world we live in, is actually quite horrible. Global warming, pollution, synthwave let's us go places, with purple beaches, fading dimensions, and I like that.
