Yep, Bama and Georgia should’ve both been in there. If Bama had lost to a different Big 12 team, or anyone else, in the regular season, instead of Texas, that’s how it would’ve been. In the end, the only reason Texas got in was because Bama beat Georgia. If Georgia had won the SEC, FSU would’ve been in, even though they wouldn’t have deserved it, because they were wildly overrated. Everyone knows that Bama and Georgia were each better than both FSU and Texas, but, since Texas had gotten that early-season, fluke, upset win against Bama, they couldn’t be left out, and that’a why Georgia got screwed. FSU got left out because of Georgia’s loss to Bama, but all that Georgia loss really did, for FSU, was save them from being humiliated in the semifinals, like they were in the Sugar Bowl. In reality, FSU should’ve thanked Alabama for beating Georgia, and keeping them out of the playoffs. There would’ve been no excuses for them losing by 60 in the semifinals, like the ones they used in the Sugar Bowl.
