if i was an animal i would rather be in WDW , at least there isnt something lurking waiting to make me lunch as there is in the wild

I do understand your point and appreciate your comment - but that comes at the cost of freedom, and being kept in captivity and not having the free will to live out their instincts (hunting themselves for example). It’s also worth saying as well that the animals do not get the privilege of a choice to chose WDW or the wild, the humans make their choice for them.
