Awesome video! I've been looking for a good video on soldering and wiring in the detent 10k pot to the servo! The only difference in mine is I'm going to have the ESC and servo in the same box as the potentionmeter. Thanks again!

Amazingly helpful and detailed video with some great instruction., very professionally done, thank you for sharing. I have a very similar ESC set up driving my Ocean Prowler 13, but my soldering skills are limited and both times I have been out so far, I have lost power due to fragile wiring on the modified servo board, the glue gun is great idea to beef things up and make the wiring a bit more solid. I have a Watersnake 24Ib thrust motor, in your experience what is the optimum level of the propellor in relation to the underside of the hull? Thanks again FFH

Thank you ianhenderson9593 for the comment! 😊 The way I adjust the prop depth is to mount the trolling motor where it is going to stay. I then adjust the prop depth to roughly 6 inches under the water using the top of the prop blade as reference. Now I run the trolling motor to full rpm to see if the prop cavitates while in motion. If it does then continue adjusting/lowering the prop depth until it no longer cavitates. I then lock it in at that depth and I'm good to go throughout the rpm ranges. 😊👍

do you think this could potentially be used with a 60kg servo for steering. instead of drive and reverse, it would be used as right and left

Absolutely. It's a servo controller so not an issue but you would need an input voltage of only 6 volts (not 12 volts) if running the servo directly off the servo controller connected to just a battery. 😊👍

Do you have any recommeendations for a 24v system I'm trying to find what ESC to buy I've burned through a couple PWM's from amazon and trying to go a different rount. I have a small pontoon on a small lake that I use. The trolling motor is a 82lb thrust running on a 24v system.
