I snapped 1 of the 6 bolts on a Toyota water pump yesterday inside the block. This was the bolt at the 8 o'clock position. The other 5 books are held in place from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock. I used jb weld and let cure overnight and poured in Coolant this morning. It worked.

I did the same on my Spinter T1N many years ago, Took me an hour to get what was left of the bolt out.

I'm sure you've thought of this, and it's pretty cheap of me to say from my vantage point of hindsight: If you're worried about a sketchy thread repair on a glow plug, don't connect the electrical connector. If it rockets out of the head, at least you won't be repairing the wiring harness.
