Damar Hamlin playing 17 snaps last year was the equivalent to letting a handicapped kid score a TD before a high school football game. Making the CPOY into a pure injury award is dumb and will result in nothing more than a sentimental feel good award which is of no interest to 90% of football fans. Most improved player is much more interesting IMHO.

He's giving up time during mandatory camp and around $100,000. Bull dodo. Why couldn't this Ayahuasca Trip happen during a more appropriate time.
