So glad your back and safe. I too have plodded through storms like you, days without power, heat, snow drifts above my garage. I had a wood fireplace and kept that up, candles for reading, and I bought camping pots and pans and cooking over the fire and slept in front of it. Our house was right on the Atlantic ocean so high waves slamming against my home. I was much younger then and know now I could never get through it again. Hence we moved inland 10 years ago. What a relief!!!!!

I too am glad you are back safe and sound. Power failures of any length are difficult to deal with in today's world. I keep remembering the House of Captured/Captive Children as well and fondly remember the fun you, and therefore us, had each day with it. I also sort my MH, and any other kit flosses, on a thread sorter, and number them as you did. No point in trying to copy those symbols, and with just numbers on the sorter, it can be reused multiple times. Easy enough to make one from a piece of cardboard as well. I don't know if you have noticed that MH bead symbols, on the graph, are usually round in nature and all the regular stitch symbols are symbols we often see. Thanks again for your daily videos.

So glad for you that things are returning to normal! It's terrible to be without electricity and heat for that long. Yes, it figures that the school would remain unscathed, but I'm sure the parents appreciated having a place where their kids could go for the day to be warm and shower. I'm enjoying your flossmas, and yes! I remember the home for abandoned children advent calendar 😂

So glad you’re back! And glad the outage didn’t last any longer. What a mess in the cold and right before Christmas. This year’s Holiday SAL has been a bit of a…oh I don’t know…nightmare, disaster, clusterf*$k, for me. Lots of frogging…so much frogging. But I’m determined to get this done on time. There’s still a mistake that moves the bird on the right side of the second section one stitch over. I frogged him and will stitch later once we get further along and I see what’s to come. I’ll probably have to fudge that a little to keep him within the border. Aah well. The universe is getting a bigger share than usual this time around😂😪😩 Happy stitching❤️

I use the Anchor Lame. If you add one strand of normal floss to one or two of the lame, it works pretty well.

Great videos. I’m doing the stitch with u…still no heads on those little girls. I imagine this is a bit of a tease from Jacob. He seems like such a fun fellow. I’m with you on the “gonks.” Here in USA, they r gnomes and people actually have lawn gnomes scattered about their gardens. There’s a children’s author, R.L.Stine, who wrote about them coming alive at night creating mischief. I try to warn people, but they don’t listen. Nasty creatures…
