Stopping back to say thank you for the idea of putting all your extra dmc on bobbins and in one box. I had my stored in plastic bags by colors and had to go thru each bag to find a floss color I needed. Working on winding them all on bobbins and will be so much easier to find a color I need. Some times I buy bags of floss at thrift stores and sometimes I have been gifted with floss friends were destashing. This will have me so organized. Thanks again!

I'm glad you found my DMC storage tip helpful! I still have a large stash that isn't on bobbins, but it's colors that I have at least two of, on bobbins.

Love the idea of adding some fabric and trim to the Mender/Maker piece. Our JoAnns closed this month like many of their other locations. So our only fabric store is Hobby Lobby. I'm the one who asked about floss organization. Thanks for showing. I have all DMC, each one is in a envelope with number wrote in corner. So I have to refer to my DMC floss color guidebook if I change colors. Mine is very old, it actually has a sample of each floss by the number . Thanks for sharing all your lovely things❤

I prefer them on bobbins, so I can see the colors. That way if I am substituting colors, I can look and see which one is similar to it. I think those books are great, that have the floss in them.

I won't be selling the project bags. The quality of my sewing is not near as good as the other ladies that make them for sale. I'm just making them for myself. My Tannenbaum pattern was gifted to me, along with the box. Lucky me!

Really enjoyed your FT! I cross-stitch the same way you do and also store my dmc the same. Loved all you bought and all your projects. I bought an old flat butter paddle to put some cross stitch on, inspired by you! It's a beautiful walnut color.

Hi Doreen! I was wondering if you were letting your hair grow out. I wear my hair short also, but over the last year it’s becoming curly. The curls are mostly on the right side, while the left side is still straight! It’s driving me crazy. Contemplating just letting it grow. Aargh!

I used a Ziploc bags until someone gave me a project bag. I didn't know I needed one before then. :-) After that, I was hooked. I got my zippers on amazon. I think there were like 80 in the package. lol

How do you contact Brightech? I have been a subscriber for long time. I have watched the long and sort Videos for long time. I see your doing Osnaburg over two stitches how you do that? I get confused what hole I’m getting to. Maybe the fabric is close together and I don’t find the holes together.

Thanks for watching! I use a magnifier lamp all the time. It's the only way I can stitch. There are probably YT videos on how to stitch over two. It would be hard for me to explain it. Great stitches, once again an enabler. I go to dr. On Fri. Have not been able to stitch for 7 mos. Broke arm at the elbow. Fingers crossed I will get the ok. Look out life here I come-- just slower this time lol. I am going to finish my fag by one nation. Hopefully a couple of hrs stitching and I am done. Can’t wait. Also have about 1/2 a dozen smalls to finish for dough bowl. Thanks again for taking your time to show your goodies.
