Welcome Michael. Great to have you in the community. My friend and I also have a flosstube called 2 Crossed Stitchers if you care to watch. I have that same fabric you're stitching fall harvest on. I like how you used it. Neat deer score you thrifted. I love it. I have also found not all opalescent fabric is created equal. I notice you have very define plans as due dates. I admire that bravery. 😂 I am a sewer / quilter. Great job on the bags.

Great first flosstube Michael! I’m not a fan of Halloween personally but your projects are amazing! I totally understand the wax and wane of working on projects! I hope you can reach your goal! And I’m glad you enjoy sewing! That’s not my forte but I’m glad it’s yours! God bless and keep safe! Put a sign on your door do not interrupt, I’m recording! That’ll work! My dad did the same thing when he was on his ham radio, we learned to respect that.

What a nice video you have done! I like the variety in your projects. The bird one is beautiful so far. I'm glad your kids tried x stitch. They may come back to it in the future. I look forward to your next video. ❤

You have some really nice cross stitch projects going--LOVE your project bags! It's awesome how you just jump in and make something when the mood strikes. And what a patient dad to purchase supplies and patterns for your kids when they asked to try, not knowing how it would all turn out. My son wanted to try his hand at it when he was 9. He did about 30 min and decided ti wasn't for him so I had to finish his project, lol. I still have it and use it as a tree ornament.

Hi Michael, Wash your crunchy fabric, once or maybe twice to make it soft. Cheaper and easier than a new start!!!

A couple of suggestions for that too dark working copy. If you did it with s printer try printing it using draft quality. If you used a "real" copier you can usually increase or decrease the darkness of the copy. And welcome to flosstube.

Hi Michael, Thank you for sharing your work. It was a pleasure to watch you. Fully finishing is always my problem. Very limited skills there. All those ornaments would be daunting to me. The stitching, fine. The finishing, no.

Hello Michael, Great job on your first floss tube. Enjoyed seeing your projects. Really liked your Christmas ornaments. I try to make my kiddo's and ornament every year. Don't always succeed in that. Glad your kiddo's wanted to try cross stitch. I tried teaching my girls several different crafts, not all of them stuck. Love your project keepers. What was the name of the pattern you used again? I would love to make some for my million of my wips. I do all kinds of crafts, It might help me stay a little more organized. Looking forward to seeing your next floss tube. Take care and happy stitching. Eva

Great first video! Welcome to Flosstube. Your Halloween project looks so great! You have a lot of progress. And I really enjoyed seeing your wips & project bags. I really liked seeing what you used to make them. I felt excited to someday give it a try myself. It was so motivating to see the areas you weren’t happy with because it made me realize it’s all in fun and to give it a try even if I don’t think mine will be perfect. Looking forward to your next video and I’ll mention you in my next video.

Hi Michael! It's Chris from For The Love Of Stitches. I thought you looked familiar. Feel free to post in the group that you are doing FlossTube. For the color pattern that you are having a difficult time following, you can use something like FlossCross (a free online pattern maker) and rechart it so it's black and white (I can help you), OR you can make a black and white copy but lighten it up so you can read it. Another idea is to contact the company that made the kit and ask if they can supply you with a black and white chart. Hope to see you soon. Take care.

Love your video. I see your patterns you show, they seem to be backwards as you put them up to show them. You are a lot braver than I am , I am camera shy. Keep up the good work.

Was that stiff fabric. Let it air dry then iron it. If it's still stiff, start over on different fabric.

Welcome to the community of flosstube…I hope you enjoy your journey as much as I have. I am like you, I prefer the black and white patterns to the coloured patterns. God bless our pets…we do love them but sometimes they mess things up on us. 🦉🧵🪡
