Definitely your first video on flosstube based on my modest opinion is amazing. I saw like dozens videos of different cross stitch ladies on the flosstube, they make not my content, I'm not admired with primitivism and mostly weird patterns what I saw. I've been trying to explain my american speaking friends some details about my passion-cross-stich, only one what they familiar with is a quilting, but it's sort of not the same and has historical background. My favorites from all your WIPs are all of them probably except for the Mill Hill, it's not kind of I don't like, just I have a bigger obsession with patterns of Russian designers, because they are more accessible for me. The puffin is my personal favorite. I cross stiched one puffin last month, it was hard work with restarts. I thought I was done with that for a while, but every single time when I look to a puffin, I completely forget about my last tough experience and I want as many of them in my life as possible. First time I saw a puffin in the cartoon "Happy Feet", when I was quite an adult and right now I add to my "to-do list": cross stitch a new puffin and watch the documentary about these birds. How wonderful that you have so many different interests in your life and you have plenty of cool skills! 👏 I love these wooden organizers what you use so much! I wish you have new English-speaking followers too 😄👍 Russians who can understand and speak English will always be here 👌🤪

thank you so much! I see where you're coming from, I'm not a big fan of primitive patterns but I still like some of them. But I agree that primitives dominate flosstube especially compared to our nook. For some reason right now I'm not in the mood for Mill Hill. I lean towards Russian kits and patterns. I've finished my puffin and picked up Овен. Even though I've just finished my puffin I am thinking about stitching something else with them. I'll probably do a video or a Boosty post with my top-10 puffin patterns. So I wholeheartedly share your puffin obsession
@svetaaa_fm_laluz6 ай бұрын
@@lerastitchpower I'd love to support you and a few other people using the Boosty service, I'm located outside of Russia but as soon as I resolve a few problems with my bank accounts, I'll most likely be able to do this. I like your non-standard ideas👍 Our nook is really incomparable! I bet I'll find primitives for myself at the right time and cross stitch them on a suuuper-small linen cts 🤪 Who knows, it might be a new wave of my obsession! Our hobby is unpredictable. Technically I was talking about an animated movie (cartoon😄). It's about penguins, but there is one puffin among them 😏

Lovely video! Loved seeing all your patterns, I found you after Maria the green stitcher recommended you! I love the puffin, he is so cute! 😍 I’m from Iceland and there is an island off the south coast where there are a lot of puffins and they even have an event where the pufflings leave their nests and sometimes they get confused by the nearby town lights, so the locals will go out and rescue them and then set them free in the right place the next day I also love the Harry Potter patterns, they are so beautiful, so intricate, I love them, sadly never been able to find the patterns online My main reason to come see you though was Link! Love him, he looks so good! I also have the Zelda patterns from make it pink, I’ve started with Midna, though I am not very far along Looking forward to seeing more videos 😍
@lerastitchpower6 ай бұрын
Hi there! Thank you so much and thanks to Maria again :) I've heard that people do that with birds but didn't know that puffins are also prone to getting confused like that. Would looove to see a puffin in real life -- maybe if i visit Murmansk in Russia I'll get lucky 🤞🏻 Oh, you can buy those Harry Potter patterns on the designer's Boosty boosty.to/sabbat_stitches Boosty works kinda like Patreon but you don't have to pay monthly - just buy access to posts which have the patterns you like. The charts are included in the posts. It's a one-time fee per post\pattern. I've seen your Midna progress! Love her color palette! Are you going to stitch the full border? I'm still waiting for the Zelda border. I think it isn't out yet?
@nerdynordicstitches6 ай бұрын
@@lerastitchpower with the puffins, it’s just the baby ones, the first time they leave the nest they can get confused, so people help them out, very cute though! Thanks for the link! That’s great to know about! Yes I’m going to do the border from craftigurumi, so cool! Yeah I don’t think the Zelda one is out yet, but I think she has done one for link, are you going to do that one? Do you play the Zelda games?
@lerastitchpower6 ай бұрын
@@nerdynordicstitches I have one for Link but still haven't decided if I'm ready to do that much stitching just for the background. Sure! I wouldn't have bought and started stitching Link if I weren't playing lol But I don't play them on launch. Still haven't started TOTK but I've beaten most of the previous titles. Do you play Zelda games? And since you're stitching Midna, is Twilight Princess your favorite in the series?
@nerdynordicstitches6 ай бұрын
@@lerastitchpower yeah I’m not as intrigued by the Link background, I think it’s a bit too simple for my test - debating trying to add some embellishments myself, but I’m years away from that decision haha Haha I figured you probably did play the games but you never know! Yeah my favs are a toss up between twilight Princess and Ocarina of time. OoT was my first Zelda game so it has a very special place in my heart but Twilight Princess is also so good. I haven’t played all of the old games but I’ve played a fair few of the remakes. I’ve played botw and am currently playing totk, but I have a bad habit of not finishing games, so not finished all the ones I’ve played lol
@lerastitchpower6 ай бұрын
@@nerdynordicstitches Right now I think I won't do the crosses in the background but I plan on doing the backstitching. It just looks more completed with a 'frame'. My first Zelda was Link to the Past (it's still one of my favorites). But I also have Wind Waker and BOTW at the top. I haven't finished Twilight Princess lol -- rage quit in a dungeon which I later found out was second to last. It's the one where you have to carry the rock and not get caught by hands.

'do' before the main verb is used to put emphasis or to clarify. Compare - 'I have a job' vs 'I do have a job'. The latter meaning 'I really\actually have a job'. Thank you a good luck in your studies
