Hi NN, I do a hybrid of the snake method, which I learned from you, Thank You. I do the hybrid snake method in a 20 x 10 block going at an angle. So, one color snaking back and forth till that block of color is done and I can park the thread or end it. I make little accidents too and won't frog it if the color is very similar to what it is suppose to be. I come from back in the day where you held the hoop in one hand and stitched with the other. We also had just the paper pattern and ungridded fabric...highlighter and counting absolutely necessary. Now I have gridded fabric, pattern keeper, and my frame stand to stitch two handed. Stitchy life is good. 😀

Thank you for walking through what you are doing during your stitching process. I always learn a lot from your videos. I'm starting my first kit from gecko rouge and I'm testing out some of the things you've shown to see what works for me. Beautiful project, I hope you get all the enjoyment out of your WIPs.

I am stitching snake now. But my stitch above is diagonal above so you always come up in clean and down in dirty hole. See glad to stitch with u.

Your way of stitching Sounds great, Gail 👍 Glad to be back 🤗

"Up in a clean and down in a dirty hole" That statement made so much sence to me watching this video. Didn't quite understand why you didn't put a stitch in if there wasn't one above it. Much thanks for sharing if with us.
@gailmaltese72772 жыл бұрын
@@jamiwomack2129 Yes. For clarity, I modified Needle Ninga’s method one step further. I do not stitch if there is a stitch directly above. Directly above will cause you to come up in a dirty hole (the empty stitches in the row above). I stItch if there is a stitch DIAGONALLY above. Therefore, I never come up in a dirty hole. Happy stitching!

Yayyy....so happy to stitch with you,my friend!!, it was alot of fun and relaxing for me. Loved listening to you count...I also count in my head and out loud all the time. Love you saying hi to your parked threads....im going to start doing that too. And loved seeing you go crazy and just finish your thread and break a few of your rules,and the world didn't end. I had to wait to stitch with you because I've been getting my house ready for my newest grandbaby, that was born yesterday, to come home with my daughter. Have to have everything perfect 👌 so finally got to sit down and stitch for a bit with you my friend. Numbers 1,3,5,7,9 are odd, and 2,4,6,8,10 is even. You remember correctly. Ive not tried the snake method yet, I stitch 10x10 diagonal with cross country in my blocks. Pick a symbol and stitch them all,whether there is a stitch above or not. Have to get back to getting everything ready.....awesome stitch with me,everything was perfect,your hand was not in the way and lighting was good. Looking forward to doing it again and hope your camera will let you video another longer one. Stay safe my friend and enjoy whatever your stitching on 🥰

I do not mind you counting as you go. I enjoy hearing your soothing voice. I love the snake method. That’s all I do except I stitch a 10-stitch diagonal. I’ve tried 20 stitch diagonal but it makes me too anxious. Thank you for this great stitch with me video. Please continue making more for us! Take care and love you!

Thank you! Totally enjoyed watching your stitch with me. I like your style of video so much, because it completely explains what you are doing as you move along. I tend to think out loud, so your method makes a lot of sense to me. While my method is somewhat different than yours (full cross, 1:2 diagonal), I look forward to trying your method in the near future. I feel so much better now that you’re back!

This was amazing! I liked hearing your “counting in your head” because it is so similar to how I count. I LOVE the snake method (that I learned from you) and it is truly the only parking method that makes sense to me. Thank you for your lovely videos 😍

So happy to stitch with you today! Your voice is so relaxing 😌 I used to do the snake method too but I’m not really patient so all the threading was a lot of work for me. I now prefer to work in 10x10 blocs with parking too. Now I really enjoy stitching ! Have a good day Mon Amie 😘

Hi 👋 Mon Amie❤️ I saw a little of your last upload and I could see that You are going wild with cross country 😉👍 You are Very brave😎 Now I start to do some mini pattern of Mona Lisa (only 50x60 stitches big) and I’m going extreme cross country 😁 and really enjoying it ! Couldn’t imagine how can it be done with huge projects like HAED tho 😅 Have a great day & happy stitching 🌻
