The Queen of the Earth is phenomenal ! She should hang in a place of honor . You purchased some great fabric which should be a lot of fun to use. Thank you for the update .

I have now watched all of your videos and have enjoyed each and everyone of them! I like how you show off both your cross stitch and knitting and how you manage to get so much done! Also- great idea to use your finished charts as G’s so that you don’t end up with a big stack hanging around your house- also very kind of you!

I like your idea for changing the colour of the fish to coral. I think that will help to make them pop. I love watching your videos. You have a very calm, soothing voice.

Congrats on the finish. It is a relief for me to hear that someone else too are frustrated over the page breaks in that pattern. I got that dragon sampler kitted up. Fun to see your work on it. Hearing that a new SAL is out is bad for my wallet. Though I probably will hold off until I see more of the parts. Love their patterns though.

Thank you! I haven’t heard anyone else having issues with their charts, but the page breaks were driving me nuts. 😆 I’m almost done with the frame for Forest Fairytale already! I hope you enjoy stitching the dragons.

Wow your finish of the Dark Queen is awesome. Love all your WIP's. My Dad's side of the family lives in Dubuque, IA so I know that area very well. I am doing my first SAL and it is called Sweet Summer and it is by the Tiny Modernist. I am doing it on 16-count Touch of Gray aida. I got the first series and I have not even finished the border yet. It is a 3 part series. I may not be able to keep up with the SAL but I am having fun with it for sure. I found it on 123 stitch. The Forest SAL sounds very interesting to me so maybe I will try and find that one too. Happy Stitching.

It’s called Forest Fairytale SAL by Quaternion Creations. I started on it after filming today and I’m already having fun! I purchased a holiday themed Tiny Modernist SAL during the first Jingle Ball and never stitched it. Whoops!

Great video Jen! I love your finish of the queen - congrats 🥳🥳 You’ve worked on so many beautiful projects and great haul 😍 I also order stuff sometimes with something in mind and then forget 😂 But the teal thread is beautiful 😍 Hope you feel better soon! ❤️

I figured out the teal floss! It’s for Botanical Study No 1 by Petal Pusher. I kitted the rest of it up from stash but I didn’t have anything over dyed in that beautiful deep teal range.

Hey Jenn, thank you for your Video! You have me tempted with the forest SAL. I finished my local crow frame last week and am impatiently waiting for the next release and could stitch the border until then maybe? But then I'm probably overwhelmed, when both start releasing sections at the same time🤔. Anyways, with your pollinators I think keeping going with your current colour sounds wise. I also thought instead of ripping out and using a brighter white you also have the option of adding that extra strand in a brighter white too, on top of the one you have going now. Sort of an afterthought blend and coverage increase... Have a nice day!
@jensfiberweb6 ай бұрын
That is a fantastic idea to add an afterthought blend with a brighter color. That might be the first thing I try if I’m not happy with how things come together! I’m a sucker for any SAL that speaks to me or that involves anything I already have kitted up, so I would say join the Forest Fairytale SAL! But maybe don’t listen to me because I have quite a few unfinished SALs still hanging around 😂

I'm working on the Pollinator SAL also and I'm having issues with the golds in the bee not popping as well. I'm doing mine on a pale pink linen and I think it's just the floss doesn't have enough contrast.

I'm pretty sure the sheep is just Winnie the poohing it and that is sheep butt. How do you stitch so much with a toddler, my 18 month old has severely limited my time, then again she is a bit of a Velcro baby
@jensfiberweb6 ай бұрын
That’s what I thought at first but when I started stitching, I thought it was an odd color for a sheep’s fleece. And it matches the color of the flowers on the sweater. 🤔 Either way, it will be variegated! 😆 And that’s a good question about stitching with a toddler. My husband works from home and my other kids are 8 and 11 so it’s not just me and him all day. And he sleeps more than I do. 😊
