I love watching your videos. Do you make your floss drops and the card you write your project info on? I'm looking for a new storage method for my DMC and I'm leaning towards a floss drop storage so I can easily pull them for projects.

Thank you so much! Yes, I do make most of my floss drops. I make them when there is only a little filament left, but not enough to print a project. I made the project cards on vista print. 😊

I'm also a quilter, stitcher and teacher, except I teach elementary, but I love your idea for a cross stitch club! I've been wanting to do something at school like that for a few years now, but I just wasn't sure how to go about it. So the little bit you described got me thinking and I think I'll give it a go this year! Maybe with 3rd-5th grade? Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Welcome and thank you for coming over. I definitely think starting a club with your students would work. For us, the biggest struggle was threading the needle, so if you make kits like we did, add a floss threader. Also for your age group you might need a few extra adults, because all of you kiddos are going to sign up. We were prepared for 10-15 and we ended up with 25 students. ❤️

It always makes me happy when you talk about your students and how interested they are in learning to cross stitch, especially the kiddo that came up to you before school was out. I love that you have a student that insists you reach 5,000 subscribers. It really makes my heart happy. Is there anything you need or want for your stitchy students. I plan on sending patterns in the fall but if there is anything else you need, I would be more than happy to start collecting things over the summer. As a retired teacher I am willing to make any donations to help out in any way I can. On a different note, your patriotic quilt is amazing as are all your quilts that you share.
